I voted no for 1 reason. Not everyone has the option to get the next gen consoles. It is 400 dollar/euro's. Not everyone has that kind of money. And then you need to get destiny again and dlc's. And above that comes comet.
So no. Destiny came out of last and current gen and should keep supporting both untill Destiny 2 comes out. That should be on current gen only.

Doesn't matter, should they keep making games for PS2 as well because some people can't even afford a PS3, companies need to get with the times and let their old systems die

Was destiny released in PS2? No. If you release a game for a console, you continue to support it on that console, no excuses.

The new Gen came out just before destiny. If we had a 3 year notice it would be fine.

Yes i agree with you. But not during a game. The moment destiny 2 comes out, i think it will be next gen only. But to leave old gens behind with a dlc, is just a stupid idea. Bungie made the choice of releasing Destiny to old gens, so they need to support it untill the next game comes out.

When Bungie started making this game, there wasnt even a clue that the next gens where in devolopment. Every company knew very late and close to launch about these systems. And you say that but why did the last 2 CoD's came put on both last and next gens? Because not everyone upgraded to next gen yet. Also alot of country's (like mine, the netherlands) only got the xbox one last October. Yes last October. A full year after launch. Almost every game that game out last year is out on both last and next gen because of that. Games that will come out at the end of this year will all be next gen only. That way everyone had a change of upgrading to next gen. But games that are already out on both, will stay supported untill the game ends. That means that if Destiny 2 doesnt come out untill next year, both gens will get the DLC's. And it should be like that. Or do you want to say that you are better then the old gen users and deserve more gameplay just because you could buy the next gen? Even tho they payed the exact same thing for the game as you did. Same with the DLC's.

Its been almost 20months, so lets say 600days since launch. You cant come up with less than 75cents a day?

First off Destiny launched on September 9, 2014. That means the game is almost 7 months old not 20 months. Original Poster needs to get out of moms basement and see the sun sometime. I do believe there comes a time in a gen gap in consoles the the older system should disappear from game developers thoughts and focus on the new gen only. XB1 will be 2 years old in November and PS4 has been out longer. Once the new gen systems are 2 yrs old and they have the price drops for the second Christmas season the old systems should be allowed to die. The average kid can save at least a dollar a day to buy the new system after it's been out for two years.
