bungie claims no matchmaking for raids because they're too challenging and demanding, meanwhile ffxiv has matchmaking for their endgame raid that's been beaten by only a handful of the thousands of players. maybe someday.

Just that is one way of interpreting what you stated.[/quote] i think something was lost in translation haha. bungie wants no match making for destiny's raids because apparently it's too much of a challenge for PUGs to complete. meanwhile FFXIV has match making for their raids (even the hardest) and PUGs work just fine.
