It in fact does control the match, for example and opposing team sporting Thorns will undoubtedly force opponents into cover a majority of the time giving said Thorn user an advantage just by shooting an opponent once. It indeed forces control and flow a match.

If your standing in the open .. Then that could be your problem

Someone could tag you from anywhere, you don't necessarily have to be out in the open.
