*150,000 souls wait in the courtyard of the citadel of shadows - watching the drawbridge in unison as the cracks have grown in the door and the shaking comes to a violent crescendo.. Everyone present is nervous - nobody knows what is about to happen......... If they did: they would all flee in terror. All but a few*
*out of nowhere the shaking stops for a few moments (the calm before the storm)*
[b][i]A CRACKLING EXPLOSION TAKES PLACE[/i][/b]
*the entire drawbridge is blown to bits as a pyro clastic cloud of shadow and chaos can no longer be contained. It rushes down the thousands of steps in an avalanche like an eruption of a super volcano - fast and lethal. It slams into the warriors and obliterates [i]every last one of them but a handful of champions[/i]*
*a shadowy projection of the summoner beckons the champions forward - to bid them welcome to the citadel of shadows. Then disappears into nothingness*

You will pay for your sins!!" *without further preamble, the angel explodes into flames as the summoner explodes into shadow - infusing light and darkness to each corresponding side. All combatants swell in size by 75% their strength and abilities become 10X more potent!!* *with a roar, both sides sprint towards each other with blinding speed - they slam together in a yin yang of opposing energy* *the final battle has begun* *Sarris-Sanguine and the summoner slam into each other, mid air - a smoldering vortex of unstable energy obscures their intense fight. A legionnaire ignites his jump pack to come to the side of his master; only to be ripped apart by pure warp energy of shadow, light, and utter chaos* *the battle rages below*

*blood flows freely throughout the battlefield, limbs being hacked off on either side, I launch my missile systems into the first couple waves of demons, my cluster missile causing mass damage. I land and draw my sword and begin slicing through the thong of demons, never flinching, the neon blue line on my blade becoming a blur as I spin and slice through the crowd.* Come on! Is this the best you can do!

*weapon compartments open up, revealing multiple rocket systems, a back mounted cluster missile, a wrist mounted laser system, and a wrist mounted plasma cannon* I've got a meeting in a couple hours. [spoiler]RL Takes a toll, I totally know how you feel. XD Going to attempt to assimilate in.[/spoiler] The blow is draining, but I am getting used to the unforgiving reality of battle. Seeing the blood rising I panic a bit and dance in place. The blood clings to my legs even as I dash to follow my companions through the portal. I look back a last time and a case of dread overcomes me. For a moment I do not breath, for a moment time stands still and I feel the weight of the enemy on my shoulders. We are far from any sort of safety... it is obvious. A shimmering katana appears in my hand. I begin another spell to bolster my companions defenses for when we reach the other side of the portal. My heart beat skips and the pulse of my veins is apparent with a flash of my neck. Lips part to acquire more air, but my pace does not falter. On the other side of the portal my eyes widen to take in the environment and situation.

Seeing the Summoner again my heart fills with despite and sympathy. Yet his visage wrecks my soul to unrest. How could someone agree to help in such a vicious enterprise? I shake the sympathy from my heart and realign my focus on Sarrin. The harmony of my heartbeat and the power of light beat in synch within me. I step forward alongside my comrades and enter the battle with a flare of light. My blade alights and it slices with a hum. Bodies erupt from its touch and the blood turns to flecks of light. As they land on the enemy they deal more damage. I am surely making my way towards the summoner via flanking my eager companions. Each step I and consecutive kill increases my power as evil in the area is overthrown. My soft feminine face is stoic in light of my dark actions. All for a good cause, reasonable explanations die within my breast as I fight not for any reason, but to live and to acquire revenge. Revenge for the situation, revenge for lives lost, revenge for the nightmares that will forever plague me. Closer to the final enemy my heart breaks and it's cracking is the distance separating us drastically becoming smaller and smaller.

"KAAAAAAAHH" Akron effortless cuts through the enemies each fallen one giving him the vital energy he needs to continue. A dark behemoth looms over him, massive club in hand. It swings downwards in Akron. He dodges, the impact of the club leaving a crack in the ground, he darts between its legs slashing it and weakening it. It manages to backhand him and he flies back into a wall. The impact jolts his vision and he coughs blood. Enraged, he leaps back into combat, cutting brought more enemies as he proceeds to the giant. He stabs it in the knee cap and it kneels. Akron then summons a bolt of lightning and drives it into the beast. It falls dead and the Lightning chains to other targets and kills them as well. Seething with adrenaline he stares at the army who dares oppose him

*I dodge a sword that sweeps at me, and stab the arm of its owner* "Hmm, now what can I do to help..." *I unfold my wings and leap into the air, summoning a bow* "Multi-arrow should help a bit..." *I charge my bow, and a large arrow takes form.
