Iron Banner 32's vs Crota's End 32's
If you had Light 32 PvE only Raiders play against Light 32 from Iron Banner who would win in a 6v6 match? Obviously the IB 32's. Being skilled in PvP just makes you better at the game overall.
This post isn't against the PvE only players. Just the ones who act like Crota's Raid gear requires more skill than Iron Banner gear.
Edit 1: Be sure to read the paragraph above. This post is only a response against the people who I see post on the forums that call IB 32's fake 32's.
Oh yea and..... VoG is the ONLY raid worthy of calling yourself a Raider. A full set of VoG armor is the only Raid armor that is impressive to have. VoG-MasterRace

CE gear espcially can all be randomly given to you on normal. Little to no skills needed. Just decent weapons and lvl 30 players. VoG you have to play hard to get a helm. Skill required and a good team of not made up of idiots. IB gear, you actually have to level rep up then purchase with glimmer, takes more skill and is more frustrating. Can be filled with idiots too. Takes more time to acquire required rep and glimmer.

In a PvE environment, Crota's Raid users would win since they have more experience with PvE situations. No group is better than the other overall, that is why [b]you are wrong.[/b] Just because you can do Iron Banner doesn't mean you can do the raids just like how if you can do the Raid you can't do the Crota Raid.

IB doesn't equal skills. I'm a casual PvP player and basically only play it during IB for the gear and my KD is only 1.3. I'll be the first to admit that IB is more grind than anything else. You got fairly easy bounties, medaillons and tempered buff. Any random can achieve rank 5 every IB if you play enough. I agree only to an extent if you ever match IB players to people who never ever play PvP, IB players would probably win but are there that many raiders who don't play IB/PvP? Most end game players play everything.

And people who only play pvp will be useless when it comes to raids and prison of elders. Why can't people be good at both? I don't agree, nor disagree either way. I just don't think you should stereotype players to one, or the other.

2 RepliesIf you had 6 raid players speed run crota and 6 IB gear speed run crota who would win? Don't think your all high and mighty because your good a PvP were shotguns/thorns & bad connection rule games.. I'm mainly a raid player & finish top 3 almost every crucible game i play, My 1st iron banner this week & i'm rank 5 on my warlock, 2 on my hunter, Getting rank 5 is not a grind & i'm sure if it's boots and arms next IB ill have those aswell.. Raid players are obviously better at raids than PvP player's & PvP players are obviously better than raid players at PvP well so i should hope so anyway.. There 2 different types of things it's like asking what's better crisp's or chocolate.. Either way i'm better than you at both PvP & Raids whether my stat's say so or not.

3 RepliesI'm a raid player with many maxed raid gears, and I maintain a solid 2.0 kd in crucible. Crucible just seems easy to me. It is much easier to win 6v6 iron banner match than run through solo Crota on hard. That's just my opinion though

Lvl 31 with reload gloves > 32 gear In terms of handcannons as they're the dominant gun class. Fast reload for shotguns and snipers is a waste lol

I have both sets and I use the IB gear because I think it looks cool. I'm okay a both PVP and PVE. Not bad but not great
