Iron Banner 32's vs Crota's End 32's
If you had Light 32 PvE only Raiders play against Light 32 from Iron Banner who would win in a 6v6 match? Obviously the IB 32's. Being skilled in PvP just makes you better at the game overall.
This post isn't against the PvE only players. Just the ones who act like Crota's Raid gear requires more skill than Iron Banner gear.
Edit 1: Be sure to read the paragraph above. This post is only a response against the people who I see post on the forums that call IB 32's fake 32's.
Oh yea and..... VoG is the ONLY raid worthy of calling yourself a Raider. A full set of VoG armor is the only Raid armor that is impressive to have. VoG-MasterRace

During Iron banner I yell more often to my TV than when taking down crota..

I have all armor for my warlock to be level 32. Including iron banner.

First time playing Crota: No armor drops First time playing VoG: All pieces except boots

1 ReplyIm a pvp/pve player honestly the raid gear is harder. You dont have to be good at pvp to get the armor, you can literally have people carry you in IB...

...i've had all Raid gear for all 3 classes for quite some time now and since it only makes sense in Hard Raids, i decided not to waste glimmer on IB gear. i play IB as lvl31 since i prefer the perks i get on Faction gear

The gear doesn't make the player good, as for asking if pve only play players would be good against pvp only players it's obvious if they've never played pvp they'd be at a disadvantage. But pvp only players wouldn't stand a chance in a raid either, so your logic is flawed. The more you do something the better you get at it

1 ReplyIt really makes no difference, you can be carried through a raid and be carried through iron banner. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there that have terrible kds but have a full set of iron banner gear

1 ReplyPlaying crucible doesn't make you good at the game lmao. It [b][u]COULD[/u][/b] make you good at crucible, but that's as far as it goes. Me personally, I've done countless raids and acquired rank 5 IB multiple times. I'm just good at everything *deal with it😎😎

1 ReplyThe way players are just soloing CE just makes it seem like a glorified strike now. Plus CE raid gear is all about RNG while in IB you can actually work towards your goals. Saying that though, you only need a 1 in 6 win to keep progressing in IB.

Problem with your theory.... I suck at PvP. I grinded my way through IB to get warlock armor. So I'll be a IB 32, with a horrendous k/d.

Having IB gear doesn't mean you aren't good at PvE and same goes for people that have raid gear; it doesn't mean they are trash at PvP. Some people are good to have in both game types.
