How NOT to get shards from Crota on Normal.
Do [i][b]you[/b][/i] get nothing but shards and energy from beating Crota on normal?
I figured it out. Get all of your shards and energy out of your Vault and and have it in your character's inventory when you beat Crota. You should get an actual raid weapon now.
You can thank me later.
EDIT: I'm talking about what's dropped from beating Crota directly, not the whole damn raid, lol...
