4 RepliesI agree, however, get to the heavy "unaware iron banner noob"!, it has a continuous timer, it has 15 second announce, it has a huge purple icon, if you are moving toward it before it spawns (so you'll be in range within a second or two after it spawns), sure, I will wait. I am not gonna stand there hoping someone half across the map pulls their head out long enough to see that it spawned or is currently spawning. Too often I have watched team mates wait to get everyone there so they are supered or even, on several occasions, seen the team killed by a rocket! The other team literally had time to get their heavy and run across map to shoot a rocket at the team standing around waiting for people who started to head toward heavy 5 seconds after it spawned. There are only two reasons you shouldn't be at heavy as it spawns, you died trying to push them off their heavy spawn, or you are currently keeping them off their heavy, in which case I wouldn't expect someone to wait.

The longer I wait, the closer the enemy team is and their supers just boiling beneath the surface of their visors- ready to turn me into a bonus orb with free heavy ammo box.

2 RepliesI feel ya. If there's no enemy in sight then there's absolutely no need to take the heavy when your teammates are just around the corner. So many times I defend heavy ammo and end up with none cuz a blueberry couldn't give a damn. :D

2 RepliesWho's worse, the guy that grabs heavy ammo while others are heading to it, or the guy who captures A or C on a map where the other is the better spawn point, and single handedly messes up the whole match for your team

Yea that sucks. But if the enemy is on my radar, and you aren't, I'm definitely grabbing that heavy.

I only use heavy ammo for the bounty really. If I can get it, good. If I can't, alright. Just don't use thorn. Sure it's easy and free win, but personally I would love to be killed by NLB people as at least I know they can fight.

Confession time. Today I may have taken heavy ammo when no one was around. I'm not a noob. 99.99% of the time I'll won't even be the one to take it. I was waiting for a solid 45-60 seconds, which is a long time in a match.

2 RepliesI always spawn JUST as my teammates are taking heavy and I get nothing. Sucks. Now I just accept that I won't get heavy, and rush the enemy teams heavy with my fist of havoc. So much more fun and you get a lot more kills.

Nothing more annoying than going for heavy ammo and a single team mate picks it up, then gets killed almost instantly as the other team now have 6 heavy weapons. It's really hard to come back against an entire team with heavy and you have none. It's why I run void walker. I love dropping a nova on a heavy spawn point and denying their team the ammo. I don't have the best kdr but 99% of teams won't recover from that.

I'm always trying to deny the other team their heavy. Got s couple breakers yesterday from that. I'll be on around 12 CT if anyone wants to join me for iron banner. Xbox 360

I accidentally shoulder charged a team mate off the map yesterday.... To the guy who had DON in his name on the mat mons level... I'm so so sorry I shoulder charged by mistake when the heavy had 1 second left. But you provided a solid 5 minutes of laughing

I had a match that was back and forth on the score, tied almost the whole time, then when the last round of heavy came four of us went for it but "that guy" took it the moment it was active and we lost the game due to an onslaught of five enemy players with heavy. Had he waited an extra second or two I think we would definitely have had victory.
