Fact: Though you may be nice to her, you're fat/skinny as shit, socially awkward, acne-ridden, and flat out ugly
If you're a normal looking guy, you have to grow an assertive personality. Stop acting like a socially awkward faggot afraid to say something that may upset her for a few seconds. Women like to tease and be teased. Have an interesting personality and relationship, enough with this nice guy bullshit. Women literally do not want a socially awkward nice guy over a assertive, energetic dominant one. Please stop with your awkward faggot-inducing bullshit.

A few years back my friends and I have tested many of these theories on real women in college, in clubs/bars, shopping, parties, gym etc.. These are the results: 1. Location is key (what will work on a girl grom Cali will not work on a girl from NYC) 2. You don't need to be attractive but you do need to be presentable and clean. 3. You don't have to be an ignorant jerk. Many guys get this confused with humor. 4. The nice guy (church guy) routine really only works with innocent girls (church girl) 5. You need confidence, witt, self respect, and humor 6. Money always helps, but isn't necessary 7. Smile, stand upright, speak loudly/distinctly, and have manners 8. Smile/laugh and know how to bring those positive vibes to your "target" as well 9. ALWAYS leave your "target" guessing... Sort of become mysterious.. Tell them a little, but not everything 10. Dogs are the best ice breakers in public places

Confidence and assertiveness aren't the same as being a jerk. I'm a pretty cocky guy (I sometimes cross into the jerk area). But honestly you need to have confidence to pick up a girl. It's not hard. Just talk and flirt and it'll be easy to tell pretty quickly if it's mutual.

Stereotypical jerks have more confidence than stereotypical nice guys. Stereotypical straight women like confident guys. Also, if I'm going to choose between someone who is lacks confidence and another that is sure in themselves, I'll probably pick the person who can respect themselves through confidence.
