I ask because there are multiple fossils detailing different stages of human development, and asking for a "missing link" can vary by definition, sometimes asking for something completely unnecessary, and lead to something like: Where's missing link(X) between W and Y? Right here. Where's the missing link between W and X? Here. Where's the missing link between W and... Etc.
