Non OP weapons in Iron Banner
So who's running a primary other than a Thorn, Red Death, Bad Juju, Hawkmoon, The Last Word, etc.?
I'm running with a Coiled Hiss 1919 legendary with Headseeker/Glass Half Full perks. Busting caps, splitting wigs, and taking names with it. It's actually been a VERY good weapon.
Edit: mainly wondering about non exotics and non raid legendary weapons.
Edit. I just hit Rank 5. Already bought 1 helm, 1 Chest Armor. The Titan Mark, million million shader, and the tag. Now to go glimmer hunting for the Spear and second shader. Still 3 days to go so I'm sure to have the glimmer by then.
As for drops I got the Simlar's Wrath, a ship, and 2 legendary engrams.
I defiantly recommend the exp buff staying on at all times. One mote is nothing and you'll gain 20 more to take its place with luck. I also played bout 4 to 6 hours at a time after work. I also didn't play with randoms. Full 6 player teams here.

First I used the MIDA Multi Tool but didn't get many kills with it (just got it to 331 so my practice with it isn't that much). So I returned back to my old faithful combination of Another NITC (Final Round/Hammer Forged/Third Eye) Invective Jolder's Hammer (Hip fire/Field Scout/Crowd Control) and sure enough I'm almost rank 4 :)

Edited by The Fallen Zyzz: 5/3/2015 2:33:31 AMI used Three Little Words. I was managing to outplay Thorn (ab)users pretty consistently with it. As for my special, I was using The Calming. My heavy was either Truth or Jolder's Hammer (for the The Chaos and the Calm).

Thorn needs a buff it sucks it takes 2 shots wow it needs to only take 1 shot why they r at if nerf suros that gun is op

i've been running timur's lash (clown cartridge, field scout, luck in the chamber) and three little words (full auto, glass half full, field scout) as far as non exotic non raid. other than that, the last couple of hours have been using word of crota to finish the thorn bounty. for me word sucks. a void purifier for special.

I have been using MIDA and my B-line Trauma with Rodeo and 3rd eye. Both have worked out just fine.

I sometimes use a 7 mag timurs lash with luck in the chamber. It's a bit OP but is hard to use.

I run different weapons on all three of my guys. And the one primary legendary i use is TFWPKY 1969. Specials = two Secret Handshakes and a Felwinter's Lie. For heavy, 2x Deviant Gravity and Jorders Hammer. Ive had much better luck with TFWPKY rather than The Last Word. But, i think thats from being familier with TFWPKY while TLW is still unfamiliar.

4 RepliesI've been Lashin' Feels good to 2 shot Thorners from range. Not consistent against Titans though, lots of slivers of health left. Headshotting for 127 with LITC is pretty sweet though.

I found the Suros to be just too weak this time around, and with the lack of ammo now I needed Invective. I've been running a For the People that is doing great for me. Rangefinder, persistence, and field scout.
