Somehow Broke an Infinite Orb Bubble Team
Just as the title says. We were up by a few thousand on Rusted Lands and they started doing the Bubble crap on A. Somehow right before they took the lead we managed to get through to them with a FoH and Bladedancer. They had four Bubbles and two GGs. I have no clue what happened, but I'm here to say that it is NOT impossible to beat this strategy. They tried it again towards the end of the game but we all used supers and denied them their "cheats."

Yea it's super easy to counter the bubble just take other 2 points and let them come to you

Dnt go there and stay on the two other points if you have supers go kill a couple then go back

I had a team do this my freind and I waited for our nova bombs and killed all of them

This happened to my team on shores of time. Then one of my Titan friends used a death from above fist of havoc and killed all 6 of them. We then proceeded to have a dance party on the ashes.

9 RepliesEdited by LazorWoof: 5/2/2015 4:29:55 PMWe had a funny experience with this in the last Iron Banner, where two people in my fireteam ran in and set up a bubble where the other team had theirs right after their warlock used his Nova Bomb and was killed by our sniper. The amount of punching noises that filled my speakers was hilarious. Afterwards another teammate golden gunned the bubbles while I did a FoH superman style. It was a good day for sure. Edited to reduce cluster lol.

Lol it's not cheating dude, its strategy. There's nothing wrong with it. Sure it's frustrating, but like you said it can be beat. I've done and seen it done. Not cheating.

Essentially if you wanna take down an infinite orb tea, i... 1. Nova bomb with shatter to try and break as many bubbles as possible, vortex also works well 2. If i have heavy, use my rocket launcher, or i just throw grenades down 3. Profit

Had a team try this the other day in IB. I'd never seen it but figured out to blade dance through it all by myself. If I'm in gunslinger I run through and drop my trip min in the bubble and run right out.

Someone tried to do this to the guys I run with and myself the other day. Since they did it to use, we decided to do it to them. 4 Titans ( 1 striker) and 2 hunters. It did not end well for them....

My team encountered this strategy yesterday in iron banner, first game caught us off gaurd but we won in the end by two kills. They stayed in the lobby and we saved our supers for them and dominated them by 9000. It's a neat strategy against unorganized teams but a decent team will come wreck your party

It's a pain to beat if they do it in a wide open space, but once you get one person with FoH or a good shotgun inside a bubble, it's over with.

8 RepliesWell done. Ran the bubble strat a couple nights ago for chuckles and it worked perfectly. We only had one team come close but we still dominated. But it's nice to see someone break it too =D...wish you had been able to record

1 ReplySome people tried to pull it off on Firebase Delphi. The mistake is that they did it on B. We picked up heavy, and as soon as one of those stepped out of the bubble, it was rockets to his face. They were picked off one by one by the Truth.

2 RepliesI broke it with a buddy by charging with shot guns while we had a sniper cover us. Whipped out the bubbles and the sniper took out the two hunters as the popped their super.
