I use my VOC, don't have a vex yet. But I've seen people just melt oracles in seconds but I didn't have the time to check what guns they're using.
I've heard hardlight does well, SGA, what is the best? I'm speaking mostly for atheon oracles
Edit: so I'm hearing a lot of SGA and foil, or corrective measure. Will these take them out super fast? The guys I played with were destroying the oracles in what seems 2 seconds, my VOC couldn't keep up with them
I've been using VOC, black hammer and ghorn (in case everyone wants to rocket atheon) I can take out oracles just fine, but I was really surprised how much faster they took out oracles than me while using VoC

What stealthnjaxx said, 100 percent. Never use any hand cannon. Top five guns (yes in this order) and why: 1) Praetorian Foil - With the Oracle Disruptor perk active, it can effectively one shot the oracles from ground level, even on hard mode. GG. 2) Super Good Advice - Ever used the Bad Juju on a shítload of Thralls? You get the idea. No reloading, never have to let off the trigger. Shreds. 3) Corrective Measure - This baby shreds Oracles, the only thing keeping it from being higher on the list is ammo. It has field scout by default, but if the team has to wipe a few times and you don't get any heavy drops, you're in a sticky situation. 4) Vision of Confluence - You probably get the idea of the Oracle Disruptor guns by this point. Coupled with the full auto perk, the glowing lights from hell won't last long. 5) Atheon's Epilogue - If oracles had health that regenerated like Crota's shields, this gun would be our salvation. Luckily, they don't, but the high DPS coupled with

Edited by Lead: 5/2/2015 11:43:03 AM- Vision of Confluence , - Corrective measure , - any fusion rifle , 1 shot oracles. - Golden gun (you should have your super after any time vengeance) , 1 shot oracles. - any LMG as a last resort..
-
Yeah the super good advice..it registers oracles as nothin so u waste almost no ammo
-
IMO: Super Good Advice, I don't have a Praetorian Foil yet but I do know that it only cost me 3-5 bullets per gate run with the SGA and they are down quick.
-
Super good advice is very effective in the mars/venus gates.
-
Foil up close. Confluence of your a far confirm oracle killer.
-
Pretorian foil, corrective measure or hunters golden gun take them out super fast
-
Corrective measure.
-
SGA killed all oracles at atheon in a teleport with no reload. Praetorian foil may be quicker but not as easy to get
-
Praetorian foil. One shot oracle kills.

Edited by Gloworm901: 5/2/2015 8:40:14 AMPRAETORIAN FOIL Nothing else is needed to melt them that fast. People that run oracles with me get to sit back and watch the action. I can take out all of the oracles on my own. All of the people saying something else, just don't have the foil. Nuff said.

Super Good Advice and any legendary shotgun with high impact
-
Found verdict does pretty good job. Or a good high impact shotgun. Other than that everyone else is on the right track with everything else. If you're talking primary weapons I'd personally use something like the vex... AR are too weak now, and hand cannons are sometimes a bit slow. Primaries are up to you.
-
An upgraded praetorian foil will one shot them, or so I hear. SGA is the best though.

Super good advise... use the super good advise.. its the only reason i still have it..I shoot all the oracles at Atheon, and cost maybe 4 bullits
-
Fusion rifles do a nifty job against oracles.
-
Don't have SGA. But I'll either run these set ups: Fatebringer Icebreaker Corrective Measure Or Fatebringer Praetorian Foil Thunderlord Both set ups melt oracles and allow lots of damage on Atheon.

CM or Foil
-
The praetorian foil has always worked the best for me. If you hit all of the projectiles it one shots.
-
Epilogue as primary Praetorian Foil as special Corrective measure as heavy
-
Pretty much any really good Fusion Rifle will do the job well. Murmur and Praetorian Foil especially. I usually try to keep my corrective measures loaded up, just in case I have to reload my fusion, so instead, Ill just switch to my heavy to finish the job. If there were only one or two, then Corrective Measures would be the best at the job. But, no point in pounding through heavy ammo for (7?) oracles... plus if you have to reload your heavy that takes for ever/

GjAllarhorn one shots them Super good advice is #2
