I just inspected every player in Ironbanner.. only 2 of us not using shotguns
[b]Bungie[/b] is going to look at the [u]numbers[/u] and youll see a [b]nerf[/b] coming soon so keep it up..
Or a [b]buff[/b] to other weapons

2 RepliesI don't see the problem with shotguns. Snipers have their purpose. Shotguns have their purpose. And fusion rifles have their purpose. I mean shit. Do people have nothing better to do with their lives then complain about shit on video games. I can only imagine the negativity in their lives throughout their days, complaining about every damn thing.

If the big maps like sky shock first light and bastion were in it then yeah I would use my sniper again but without those maps snipers are outclassed Edit: shores of time I think that's what it's called i could use a sniper

3 RepliesI just inspected everyone in IB and get a load of this shit! They are all using GUNS! Wtf bungie! Now I'm not good at pvp but how am I supposed to enjoy this game when everyone is running around with a gun killing people. Please have these removed all together or nerf them please. Also the supers. Bungie we need to have these removed or nerfed BAD! To many people going around killing stuff gaining a super and killing more!!! This is not fair! Oh and light level gear. It's not fair that someone out lights me with there gear so please have this feature removed. If I missed anything please leave your butt hurt special snowflake comment below.leta get bungie to see this guys!!!! #gtfoOP

Small maps = close range engagements. If you want to impediment yourself, be my guess. If you want to use a sniper, go play shores of time.

1 ReplyDude. 3 types of weapons can be used in the special slot. Not very many people are good with snipers. Fusion rifles are not nearly as effective since the nerf. Shotguns are the best choice, especially when you know that others are using them, and the maps are small. What did you expect?

I'm not even going to explain to an uneducated fool that knows nothing about survival, in a game or not, does not change away this lack of common sense from people like you, here's an example too get your brain thinking instead of your moronic penis. If you had a weapon that ensure 100% survival by using it and another weapon that ensure 50% survival which would you take ? Think about. Don't come up with that bullshit counter argument such as 'Oh anyone can use a shotgun' if that's the case then YOU should use it to ensure your survival and if you don't then you're just plain stupid :)

Because its effective. Would you ride a car up a hill or on a unicycle? Destiny makes small maps and shotties are the easiest option. It's just common sense

Fusion rifles are almost unusable now. Snipers can be out shot by a hand cannon. I run a shotty but I hardly ever use the 7 rounds I get at spawn. I do hate getting rocked by a shotty though.

Its not like they're using a shotgun on bastion. The maps are all CQC , using a shotgun is smart.

I have a shotgun equipped but never use it. I could carry a water melon in that slot, it would make no difference to me.

Shotguns are the appropriate choice for a lot of situations, that's why they are popular. Get a 3 square miles map that's just trees and boulders and everyone will equip sniper rifles.

What does it matter? There are only 3 kinds of secondaries. Shotguns are the easiest to use for most, and most aren't anything amazing with it. It's when I see people using fusion rifles and snipers that I notice. Those people usually are above par with them and can deal out some serious doom.

3 RepliesThey would have the best multiplayer out if they got rid of the shotgun. People don't use this close quarters they run Jim and slide all over the map and hit people with a weapon that takes no skill to use. If I can not defend it , then why is it in the game ? At the very least it should weigh a player down so they can not be 500 feet away and kill you with it in a manner of a sec. It's not a sniper, sniper takes skill. A shotgun is a useless tool noobs use to try and even the playing field.

I played with a fusion rifle (purifier) with send it and fire from the hip. Couldn't do much against the shottys if I ran straight into them but if I saw them coming I just run backwards and one shot from hip
