And then I found out she SLAYS in crucible. Then I realized I'm getting my ass handed to me by 10 year old girls in the crucible..... Damn.

12 RepliesBetter to get your ass handed to you by a ten year old than handling a ten year old's ass.

My 16 year old runs circles around his 51 year old dad, so I just turn into support mode and watch him clean House! He gets double my kills, but I get double his assists. Seems to even out to me!

Happened to me once, she kept insisting we could push off Templar post patch.

I'm 14 and I carry. Sometimes. Barely. FINE I SUCK

4 RepliesLol. Never underestimate anyone. My undoing is i underestimate people and I get my butt kicked.....

1 ReplyLOL.. younger children have faster reflexes then older players so of course they can do better once they learn the basics of the game play.

2 RepliesEdited by Nyx Moontide: 5/1/2015 10:05:03 AMI've never understood how people can't tell the difference between a male child and a female voice. Every single time I've heard someone make that mistake it has been painfully obvious, had an entire raid group once calling a young English girl a squeaker and it's just like, how are you people that bad at this? It's like those people who can't tell accents apart (the amount of times I've wanted to drop kick someone calling an aussie a brit...aaahhh), or who see bad photoshops and go "is that really her?" or who see someone in their mid 20's and go "is she legal?"

My little brother is 13 but can wreck a lot of destiny players.

1 Replywhen I need a bounty done that requires crucible I let my 9 yo son do it for me. He is a cyborg ninja and can get the thorn bounty done in no time.

7 RepliesLol... Gotta keep up buddy. Kids these days grow up with redbull and smart phones, I grew up with juice and a Tonka truck ;)

3 RepliesThe average person can track 3-4 things on a screen at one time. Looking at avid gamers it is found that it increases to 6-7. Now add that to the fact that kids have more accute sense and faster reflexes. The older you get the more you slow. No matter how good you think you are there will always be someone younger and faster. Lol

2 RepliesI was once invited to a clan training in Halo 4 by one of my friends in the group. He was trying to recruit so that he could rank up. I join in, find out half the people in the game are women, and then hid under their base.

1 ReplyOne of my youngest daughters friends is 11, she's an amazing sniper in Planetside 2. She's on NC and i'm on Vanu so she's killed me quite a few times. I'm a medic, she literally hunts me sometimes. I tried to use threats of grounding my daughter if her friend didn't stop killing me ..... it didn't work.

Edited by ryanhatfield: 5/1/2015 2:00:45 PMIt makes perfect sense if you think about it... I'm turning 32 in July, and I grew up playing on the first mainstream systems, didn't really get into FPS games until PS3, and have only recently started playing PVP. If you add in that adults with responsibilities have more limited playtime you can see why this happens. If I was 9-10 yo and only had chores/home work and had the ability to rip on crucible every evening or all weekend long my skills would probably be much higher. Edit: Take into account that they most likely never played on a system that didn't use 6 axis...

Without looking - she uses a shotgun

6 RepliesLet me preface this with the fact that I think I am a decent crucible player. You guys can check my stats if you want. One day I was playing, and I was getting my ass handed to me by some person on the other team. I mean this guy could do it all! He was using a shadow price (even after TBD released) and a shotgun. I kept my distance and sniped him into oblivion. He switched to a sniper and continued to demolish the team. I think his k/d was like 3.0 and he had about 30 kills or so. After the game I added him and created a party. He joins and immediately says "sorry bro, but my mom says I have to go to bed now." I asked him how old he was, as I was in disbelief that the guy who was kicking my ass had a curfew. He said "I just turned nine last weekend." At that moment I could hear his mom yelling at him to turn the PS4 off. I still play crucible with him to this very day. Lmao dude is a MONSTER.

4 RepliesI was in a father son raid team on Crota once. Kid was running sword like a boss. One of the guys kept cursing (cause the dude sucked and kept dying) and the dad booted him. He'd told the guy like three times to watch his mouth because his son was the bearer and he didn't want that language on his team. In fact he said it right when we all joined. "My son is running sword and he's only 10. Please watch the language." Anyhow the kid was a Rockstar.

Sexist much?

Squeakers....we underestimate them.....jk their usually bad
-
I joined a Crota normal raid and was asked to sword bear and a squeaker proceeded to say he was an amazing sb so I let him do it. He got one hit on Crota each time. Didn't know about the delay now and died blaming us for not shooting Crota.... Safe to say I left

young people adapt better, nimble fingers too, probably no preset expectations from years of gaming experience on other fps hindering thier development into the ultimate killing machines. hell they probably actually enjoy playing, even when they have bad games
-
My 6 year old owns on COD, if only they new they bring whooped by a 6 year old.

4 RepliesI have several kids on my playlist. I treat them with respect and they give it back in return. They have awesome reflexes and can be directed to clear a room of enemies like a weapon of mass destruction. I had one run sword on hard crota, at the end the adults on the team were all asking him for friend requests. He was so excited to feel a part of the crew ... Even though his mum then told him it was now bedtime ;)

Y do people underestimate us for being younger my friend reks at pvp and he's 14

8 RepliesBack when I was but a wee lass, I always beat my dad at Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct, and various other games. Squeaker power!
