Yesterday was the sneak peek of the new elimination gamemode Trials of Osiris. The gameplay was great and I am very Hyped to play, but what are your thoughts?

I want to play it now! I love the sick gear that you get from it and I already have a team that we do well in skirmish with. Already got the loadout I'll be using, so it should be fun, I'm ready for some hardcore PVP.

ToO will not be for me. I suck at 3-3 games like salvage and skirmish. But i am glad there is an end game pvp activity, looks like serious business.

my thoughts are uhhhh.......one of these dumb -blam!- are gona be gettin DEEEEZZZZZ NUUTTZZZZ when may 19th rolls around

It will be good in the start, with a lot of people playing but as less and less people play will be harder and harder for people to be competitive and win to get new gear and weapons.

I said "Other" because it should have matchmaking. I'd go as far to say it shouldn't allow premade fire teams as well. I truly believe it's more fair to have it be randoms only, but allow the randoms to talk before the game begins. Based on the current design, the teams that have played 3v3 since launch will dominate, and the teams assembled through LFG will be the new "scrubs."

I'm gonna go hiking on these trails

I voted "Other" because, well... I don't do the Crucible as it is. The only reason I've done the IB in the past was for the Warlock Gauntlets (which are the best looking piece of armor that the IB has offered...). I watched the video on the Trials teaser/walkthrough. It looked boring to me. The armor doesn't look that great (though I do dig the Egyptian motif), I'd rather stick with my VoG armor and IB Gauntlets. One thing I did get out of the video: At a first glance, Voidwalker Warlocks have every opportunity to dominate in the Trials. But after talking with some of my Clan mates last night, we've pretty much come to a consensus that the Trials is not something that interests us.

Wait... He left trails?!?! 😳💨

The whole elite thing...it's going to shatter if you can play rounds in intervals...especially with different players.

1 ReplyThat it's wasted on me. I'm terrible at pvp, IB has more than proved that.

Only the extremely good players will ever see more than 2-3 wins. Still looks fun though.
