It makes me think "gee why buy the expansions when Bungie, the geniuses they are, will just give them to me if I wait? Or, if not, I still get 90% of it anyways cause logic." 3700 xp to IB rank 3. 4800 to go from 3 to 5 Plus you can do bounties (easier xp) on new characters. TL;DR it will be quicker to take 2 different characters to level 3 then it will be to take a single character to level 5 in IB for Etherical light purposes. 3 Characters at 1 etheric light each plus an exotic means you are a single iron banner away from guaranteed level 34. munch on that for a second. plus 3 bounties can be done everyday by even the scrubbiest players (10 melees, 20 primary headshots, 1000 xp) over 7 days that is 2100 per character guaranteed WITHOUT any of the additional xp from items or wins and losses. so now after the gimme points (again before all the buffs and no wins or coins) you have to earn 1600 to get to level 3 and 2700 for 1 to get to level 5.

Can anyone tell me what's meant by "double marks and reputation"? Higher capacity? Things cost double? We gain twice as much? Really vague, so I didn't understand. Edit: Nevermind. Found the article that info was linked to. For those that also don't know it's that you [u]receive[/u] double.

I read that Etheric Light CAN drop in IB at level 3 & 5 meaning they are in the loot table. But I may have misunderstood

So etheric light won't drop in IB until How drops....right?

Why does etheric light only drop on level 3 and 5? Why not 4?
