Does anyone actually enjoy Iron Banner?
Title is the question. I'm neutral/dislike the crucible over pve because I really hate shooters where people die in one to two hits with anything besides snipers. But Iron Banner is a cesspool of everything wrong with the crucible and not even the special ammo patch fixed it.
Now etheric light comes from rank 3 and rank 5 when house of wolves comes out. I think this is a desperate attempt to get players back into playing their broken playlist instead of ditching it and trying something new.
If you like iron banner gameplay please explain it's appeal because I really don't see it. I haven't hit rank three yet and I lost all energy to even be angry anymore.

God, I sound like a broken record after reading these comments. I'm not a massive PVP'er but I do really enjoy playing it with friends, even when we go badly. In saying that there needs to be a solo playlist (can't remember what it was called in cod) because it gets really frustrating when solo's get put up against a fireteam. Even with party chat, as it can't replace playing with people you know. That coupled with bad connections and lag infested matches makes it an almost unbearable grind. And I'M SICK OF THE SAME GOD DAMN MAPS! Clash has some really good larger maps, these tiny shotgun glory maps get really old and repetitive. Even with that, I'll be out here grindin'. I like the look of the iron banner gear and will be here till rank 5 this week, with a bit of exclusion zone chucked in.

I hate it and my friends aren't consistently good at it. Taking forever to get rank 3. I just want the sniper rifle and I'm quitting.

2 RepliesIt was horrible this time around. Still need rank 4 to get helmet then do it all over agin with my Titan. I'm not great at crucible nor am I horrible but in iron banner this time around I can barely keep my k/d at or above a 1.0

I would probably like it if it were clash. Not everyone joins team chat and thats counter productive to a game type where communication on what points to take is vital.. That being said, i do enjoy crucible as long as its not super laggy.

really don't like the lag or spawn points if you can call them that. You can spawn in a random place around a capture point ut if there is an enemy there they can kill you right there and then.

I do when nobody uses thorn,the last word,red death or feltwinters blink combo. Then I do.

I'm mainly a PvE player but I actually do like the PvP too, not just IB. Control, Rumble and Skirmish are my favourite game types, haven't tried Inferno yet. The lag sucks, I always end up with terrible teammates, the control points are really inbalanced, TLW, Thorn and shotties everywhere, etc BUT I still think it's fun.

I like it better than regular crucible but that's not saying much lol. Like others have said, I suffer through it for the gear. As soon as I get the helmet for my Hunter, I'm done probably. I was gonna grind for the Titan helmet as well but I dont think I'm grinding to rank 4 twice. I don't know why, but it just seemed like more fun last time.

I like Iron Banner, but I don't think I'd play it on a different Crucible mode. Oh the satisfaction when I can stop a Blade Dancing Hunter in his tracks with Scortch when I'm higher level.

I love it! I hate regular crucible, but IB is way more competitive. I tend to have lots lf fun playing it.
