For those bragging about kill death ratios it means nothing. The crucible's networking code is so bad and so laggy that nobody can rightfully claim higher skill than the other person as it just means that the lag worked in their favor.
How do you get good in crucible? Learn to lag your player so you can't die.

Edited by TheDoomba: 4/29/2015 7:06:33 PMI agree with this for the most part. However, people with high K/D are going to say there's no lag and it's all skill, and low K/D players will say it's all lag. There's really no persuading them either way. Anybody that claims that they've never experienced lag at all in this game is either a liar or one of the main culprits though. I also think that there's some disconnect in what people consider lag. They don't have to be the teleporting, invincible lag monster for it to have an effect. Usually it's much more discreet, maybe a half second delay where you can tell that things just don't feel "right".

I like when people talk about skill when referring to a video game lol. It's like my thumbs and index fingers are better than yours hahahahaha

1 ReplyI completely agree. But this is a reality for pretty much all internet based multiplayer games. I just wish people would begin to see it.

2 RepliesI play destiny all the time, especially crucible. I hardly see lag - nowhere near enough to complain about it like so many people do. Maybe one good player lags every 4,5 games or so...and I still will take them down more often than not so what's with all the complaining?

Sorry, but this post isn't super accurate. I experience laggy people sometimes but the vast majority of games are fine

Edited by septarn: 4/29/2015 6:51:06 PMIt's always helped me to have kill cams in cod. That way I could account for the delay in my playing. Wish we had it here in destiny
