The armor has exactly the same perks as the normal armor. I would think the armor should somehow be special if it is only attainable every so often. Edit: Thanks for all your answers; a couple of you brought up the fact that the weapons are more customizable than any others, which I wasn't aware of. Wouldn't it however also be cool to offer more pvp centered armor if it's IB? Not ONLY this armor, but as an additional option
