Can Felwinter's Lie drop in Iron Banner this week?
I'm playing Iron Banner for this excellent shotgun and my buddy tells me the only weapons that drop this week are the one's sold last IB. [b]How true is this?[/b]

8 RepliesNo it's not. That used to be the case, but now, after house of wolves, every weapon can drop. As proof, look at my radeghasts fury. It has a 2 on it, which means it's from house of wolves. Since he hasn't sold radeghasts in ages, the only way I could've gotten it is from a drop. But in ether of the house of wolves iron banners the previous vender hasn't sold a radeghasts. This means that even weapon drops

1 ReplyIf you read any response, make it this one. HoW has brought in some interesting things into the iron banner. Most noticeably, the damage changes and the new loot system. Since this is about the loot system, I'll address that. With Iron Banner in HoW, everything has changed. The loot system now follows a pattern as it did before. Pre-HoW, the two previous Iron Banner weapons being sold would be the ones dropping. But that's gone and I'm fine with that. Now, we have 3 Iron Banner weapons drop each week instead of just two. Up to this current one, it was one primary, one special, and one heavy. But this week, it's both heavies and one primary. I'm going to list off some relevant info. First Iron Banner of HoW weapon drops: Silimar's wrath (auto rifle) Felwinter's Lie (shotgun) Radegast's Fury (Rocket) Second Iron Banner of HoW weapon drops: Gheleon's Demise (scout) Perun's Fire (fusion) Radegast's Fury (Rocket) Third Iron Banner of HoW weapon drops (current): Skorri's revenge (pulse rifle) Jolder's hammer (Heavy MG) Radegast's fury (rocket) What do you notice? Well, if you played those weeks or at least looked at his inventory, you notice that the previous two weapons are dropping (excluding first drops) alongside a third weapon that every time has just happened to be Radegast's fury. I assume this pattern will continue into the next iron banner as well. Most likely it will be Timur's Lash, Efrideet's Spear, and Radegast's Fury dropping. That is just an inference however. The rest of the info on the other hand, has been factual.

4 RepliesLet me put my two cents in. 1. No Felwinters is not dropping this ib. Jolders, Radeghast and Skorris are. 2. Yes it used to be that only the sold weapons from last time could drop. It's not the case anymore. 3. No, not all ib weapons are dropping, they seem to do 3 weapons for drops during the week now. 4. They used to drop after ib rank 3, now it's rank 2.
