Should thorn be nerfed in pvp? Poll
Personally I don't think they should nerf anything. Buff AR and scout so they are competitive and leave the rest.
Thorn is an exotic as such it should perform better than a legendary. Nerfing it to 3 headshot kill puts it in the legendary domain which is where it does not belong.
Edit 1: just to confirm I voted NO. I want thorn just the way it is. This is not a nerf post. Im fighting thorns corner.
Edit 2: from over 100 votes 72% have said no nerf! Bungie I hope your watching. Listen to the majority.

It's obvious the poll says no, everyone Nd their grandmothers are using the damn gun. And none of them would do half as good as they do now without it.

I don't believe the gun itself is the issue. It is an exotic weapon and can be a pain to attain - said every Hunter who ran the bounty. The effort needed to be put forth to attain the weapon explains it's power. Unfortunately like the Suros it has become a crutch weapon. Just yesterday I ran 3 IB games that the entire opposing team were running Thorns. For the same reason the Suros got nerfed. Y'all brought it on yourselves.

they need to revert thorn back to.what it was lower the clip size to 7 and make dot 4 why you ask well because it will make it 3 shot head shot like every handcannon. And a 4-5 body shot leave everything else the way it is preventing it from being nerfed to oblivion. TLW just needs a bug fix for its perk i still get extra percision damage aiming it supposed to be from the hip only. If they buff ARs by atleast half the nerf and buff fusion rifles i think we could see a multiplayer thats balanced but until that happens which i doubt it will, multiplayer will be a job and we will continue this flip between metas which is not fun.

4 RepliesNo. Because Bungie has shown every time they're nerfed a weapon that they don't just nerf that one weapon. They nerf the whole weapon [i][b]class[/i][/b]. And not only that; even though they have the [i][b]ability[/i][/b] to nerf/buff weapons in only PvP or PvE, they aren't [i][b]willing[/i][/b] to nerf/buff weapons in only PvP or PvE. So if they nerf Thorn in PvP until no one wants to use it, it will destroy the weapons in PvE as well. #nomoregoddamnnerfs

3 RepliesThorn is a BS OP noob cannon and is basically easy mode for the Crucible. It takes precisely zero skill to shoot someone twice and then run away and wait for them to die and anyone who relies in it to get kills in the Crucible is a loser.

What I would do is nerf the rate of fire. It shoots faster than FATEBRINGER, and does more dmg (2 headshot) it's just unfair

Not exactly. Statistically, it's about the same as any normal hand cannon. It's just extremely EXTREMELY annoying to die too.

Hate dying from thorn but we've had plenty of nerfs, the crucible is better than its ever been. Leave it as it is

Nerf the mega lag. Lag invis arc blades and TP titan slams are the worst.

It's overly used. Doesn't require a nerf, just give players more reason to use ARs and SRs

You shouldn't have to rely on damage over time for kills
