Vex is dominating in IB
Anyone else notice this? I brought my Hawkmoon into IB thinking I was going to dominate with it but it appears that Vex has made a comeback. I'm not complaining because I just took my vex out the vault and dusted off....

Edited by B Zee: 4/30/2015 3:44:31 PMThorn is by far the most used weapon. I see more vex use for smaller maps like Anomaly or Asylum but not so much on bigger maps. Thorn however is rampant in all maps. Also if you are not landing continuous headshots with vex you won't do so well as it will take a good amount of hits to bring people down with body shots.

Duse was melting me last night with it, got me like 3-4 times in one match, I swear he had to get headshots on me everytime I saw him I was dying so fast, might have to pull it out tonight lol

On average I've only been seeing 1 person per match use the vex. Mines sitting in the vault catching dust

Did something change?" Saw MIDA quite a bit too, but I was utterly surprised with the increase of use in Vex.

At mid range than vex is a beast. Move to long range and if you can aim the hawkmoon will dominate.

1 ReplyHawkmoon is a beast even though I don't have it. Why? I've been a victim of it several times with one hit head shot kills while I'm using a Vex! Also, my character is a level 32

I started out with TLW, then the Hawkmoon. They were ok. Pulled out the Vex, 18+ kill games are regular now. Vex works for me.

I noticed more people using the Vex this IB than the last.

The only reason I don't use it is because headshots don't count towards bounties

1 ReplyThe primary weapons that rule IB are clearly Vex Hawkmoon TLW Thorn Red death With side appearances from Mida Three little words. Bad juju. So at least 8 weapons from 4 classes. Makes me think destiny crucible is in an alright place balance wise.

I won every gun battle against thorn and last word. Going against felwinters lie and any other shotgun I would just back peddle and hip fire. About the only thing i couldn't consistently counter with my vex were people's supers. Edit: if anyone else wants a shot at the vex, I'm on 360 and love running vog.....

Yes. People with he Vex don't normally capture flags. But when they do, they tend to keep 'em.
