Got it, used it for a little while. It's not a bad weapon, but rather it's a novelty. It is certainly fun.

I knew from the start with my luck, I was going to get it before Vex Mythoclast. And sure enough within my first three completions of the Raid, I received my Crux of Crota. What I received was nothing short of a disappointment. They deserve to be forced to use nothing but this gun in its current forms from now on for such a blindly stupid act, all while watching us use the improved version. That's how I feel about their mistake. I've had it go off in a close-quarters environment where I'm hiding behind a fence/rail to hold down a Control point. It's pretty good in this one use, but otherwise it's a terrible gun. Needs some love or it will forever be a stain on their pride. Here's what I think they should do with the gun: "I think an easy fix would be to make it Void with purple GFX, have bullet tracking like Shriekers, and have the explosion be more like the Shrieker Death Blast in that it explodes initially and sends miniature explosions (basically just like Axion Bolt,) seeking enemies nearby since the explosion radius and damage dropoff makes it that they have to be molesting the person who died just to take noticeable damage. This would TOTALLY justify the reduced proc rate and make it actually useful/practical in application. The tracking would also make it so we don't have to buff the gun's stats just to make it better. It would just cause headshots to happen more often due to tracking bullets. It would be the most unique gun in the game, I seriously wish I could get them to listen to the idea at the very least. I'm sure they'd have their initial concerns but if they saw it in action they'd probably appreciate the gun afterward, and so would we which should be their only concern in the first place."

For me its more a collectors item than a gun until it gets a good buff.
