They've made mega fruits from a concentrated form of each color of the rainbow and they keep these fruits in a special facility in canada (because nobody suspects them). These fruits are trapped in machines similar to the ones that the NSA uses to hold santa claus and juiced 24/7. When they run out of juice they are dropped into the candyfier to become food for the next mega fruit. After the juicing process, the juice is put into the hearts of orphan leprechauns and marinated for three days. This is where it gains the stuff you can't pronounce on the wrapper and it's artificial, but magical, taste (fun fact: lucky charms are done in a similar way). After everything is done the juice is put into jack frost's chest to freeze. This makes the juice what you see in stores, chewy and juicy with a bit of mystery. The starburst has been born.
