The Iron Banner and Defender bubbles
so I decided to play iron banner for the first time since it came out and we started the match really well, capt A & B as normal went to try and cap C and I ran into the biggest pile of BS I have ever seen on destiny, there was about 3 or 4 titans spamming ward of dawns over and over again, so of course we could not kill the enemy team at all, WTF?!!!. so they just sat at C killing us and we could do nothing about it and because they generate orbs of light the hunters and warlocks had unlimited supercharge. I don't think that's very fair to others who are actually trying to play the game properly. I hope that this crap ends soon otherwise people will just quit PvP. so please fix this!!!

1 ReplyThat strategy has been around for about 2-3 months now. It's a pretty cheap strategy because they are exploiting the orbs generated by the Titans bubbles to get unlimited supers. Expect to see people doing that shit because they don't want to waste time and they want to win as much as possible to get the new IB helmet. As for your team trying to capture a third point, that is something a noob would do. Capping all three points screws up the spawn points and usually ends up causing your team to lose one if not both of your captured points. It's always best to capture 2 points and just watch every route that leads away from the enemies captured point.

Literally crushed this strategy as a team of three and three blueberries .. We scored double of what they did .. Does it draw the game out? Sure, but don't be dumb and rush them

If they're doing that, then just stay away. Don't just keep throwing yourself at them. If you have the lead, then just run and hide. They won't get many points if they can't kill you.

2 RepliesYou tried to cap C. ... You had 2 control points and you tried to cap C. --Your argument is now invalid.-- Seriously though, the bubble is the only super that does not kill enemies. It is the only defensive/support super in the game. By yourself it is a week super, combined with team mates it is a force to be reckoned with. Or just stay away until they run out, if you don't know bubbles aren't very mobile.

Haha. Well I'd agree with many of the other commenters that it's your fault for going after c when your team already had a&b. Why would you go and screw the spawn up? Just to be a "try hard" as you put it on one of your replies? No point in capping C. You ppl that do this just make it harder on your team.

1 ReplyShoulder charging through the bubble will kill the titan and remove the bubble. Just make sure he isn't running blessing of light (unless he just stayed in the bubble and didn't actually get blessing yet) or armor of light.

4 RepliesThe only reason their "cheap" strategy works is because you keep feeding them more kills for more orbs. If you just waited you would've been fine. Their teamwork doesn't need a nerf, your adaptability needs a buff.

3 Replies2 shots from golden gun wipe a shield. Nova bomb and fist kill bubble and all inside. Blade dancers stand a chance to kill the bubble creator, as do sunsingers,and there's dropping your bubble with blind on the enemy to attempt to counter. The bubble is literally the weakest super in the game... It just becomes an issue because people won't leave them alone

It's a sad sight, best thing to do is find one and make them an avoided player then leave and find a new match
