Stop making us play crucible
I love destiny, but I hate the crucible. Don't get me wrong I know a lot of people like it, personally I don't but now I find myself having to do something I absolutely hate in order to get a weapon from a special bounty. I am not a bad online player I'm actually pretty decent in Halo but detest how the crucible works. So there needs to be a alternative to complete special bounties.

This game was a big mistake on Bungie's part. They thought that pve and PvP players would enjoy the crossover and combined character development gained from both activities. It sounded like a good idea. I enjoy both sides of Destiny, but I feel like I'm the only one. Everyone else seems to only like one or the other. With the pve-only players avoiding PvP at all costs. It didn't work Bungie. Next time make 2 separate modes with no crossover. Keep gear and character upgrades separate. And for the love of gawd, make a damn private/custom mode for PvP. On topic: YOU DON'T HAVE TO PLAY PVP IF YOU DON'T WANT TO. Simple. Thorn is NOT required to hit max level or beat Raids. No one is forcing anyone to play PvP.

1 ReplyDestiny has a huge problem. The PvE players just play the game and blame everything on PvP. While the PvP players think they're MLG and are so good because they use tlw and Felwinters Lie. End of the story is that both people a like children.

It's a two edged sword. Removing pvp negatively effects people who don't like pve. It'll be a similar thread only the tittle will have removed pvp and inserted pve.

Bump. Not sure if these weapons bounties will exist past vanilla Destiny, though. It looks like we'll be able to purchase directly from vendors and that's exactly what we asked for, for a lot of things. Some RNG could still be interesting. Buy yeah, I hate Crucible and everyone in it and I don't want to be forced to play with asshats whose entire combat philosophy revolves around squatting next to a doorway with a shotgun in order to get a cool gun.

2 RepliesI didn't wanna do 25 strikes for the Bad Juju or 5 stikes with out dying for the Invective. Just do it dude. Complaining isn't gonna change the bounty. To many people have completed them already.

I disagree because there are weapons only available through raiding. Less people raid than PvP. If you want a weapon, do what it takes to earn it.

The same could be said about people who are forced to play Pve content if they want the best gear in the game, bungie wants everyone to play a little of everything.

You'll need to play Trials of Osiris to get Trial Set gear and weapons as well as Fate of All Fools. Will you complain that The Crucible is required to attain these items as well?

It is what it is. Delete the bounty and move on or complete it as everyone else has done. I am terrible at crusible in general but I grind it nevertheless and have improved. So long as you accept that there are always people better than you and that there are cheaters as obstacles,then it's not so bad.

the only people that like the crusible is modders , aimboters , and lag switchers , it is full of cheaters, bungie make a hard core mode so us noncheaters can have fun it should'nt take a whole clip to kill someone

4 RepliesIt's just so unbalanced, so let's say you have a vex and I have up for anything....you are going to kick my ass. Everyone in the game should start with the same weapons (balanced) and you should find weapons on the field. So it gives you opportunity to play with weapons you might not even have.

The 2 PvP part weapons, Thorn and Invective are garbage in PvE anyway...Bad Juju is decent but its not tough to complete

I hated it to, til I sat down and pushed through it. Forced me to get better at it, at least a little bit. Now I have all weapons.
