This Is gonna get lengthy. Be Warned. I'm going to go over my idea of a sparrow racing game mode, rewards, a timed event, rules, and different sparrow designs by me and I want designs submitted by you guys too. Your thoughts and support count. Here goes nothing.
First off I'm going to go over the basic rules and vendor. The rules of basic sparrow racing which is officially dubbed the "Sparrow Tourney", are that players do not directly damage other players. The only way for the guardian to "die" is to stray the path, manually hop off your own sparrow for longer than 10 seconds, or run players into wall, rocks, etc at high enough speed, damaging their sparrow. If your sparrow flips you must manually get back on within 10 seconds or respawn which takes even longer. When off your sparrow you have no weapons, abilities, or jump upgrade like the beginning of the first story mission, however you can whip out your ghost. You can respawn except for a few select game modes. Players earn medals by passing multiple players, causing others sparrow to be damaged, and other medals as well. Enemies do not spawn on these maps
(except one gamemode) and maps are found on all planets and the moon. Some maps go from point A to point B while some are looping tracks; finishing at the start. All sparrows have the same speed and overdrive does not have an effect but can still blow up damaging other sparrows. Durability doesn't matter on sparrow's rarity either, it's all the same.
Now on to the vendor. the Sparrow Tourney is run by Amanda Holliday herself. She now also sells two emblems (ranks 1,2), two shaders(ranks 2,3), a class armor piece for your specific class(rank 4), and a legendary ship called "Pet Project"(rank 5 the final rank). Each set of items can be bought each rank in her faction. You can rank up by playing races (15 for wins/first place, 5 for losses). Each day she will also give out different bounties for the sparrow tourney.
Now to game modes:
Circuit: Regular every guardian for himself race to the finish, 6 racers.
Co-Pilot: Similar to its crucible counterpart skirmish, two three man teams go head to head to the finish line. Finishing places earn a certain amount of points. Team with the most cumulative points wins.
Last lap: Free for all on looping only tracks. You get one life. If you flip and can't get on in time, get damaged to the point of sparrow explosion, or get last in the lap you are eliminated from the race. Last guardian in the race wins but must finish the lap he or she is on.
Outlast: Special event like salvage or combined arms. Six guardians must survive 8 laps while being pursued by enemies on vehicles. You get one life and laps must be completed by a reasonable time limit. Each lap gets progressively harder and larger enemy ships may spawn. Enemies include pikes, skiffs, interceptors, and harvesters. Enemy type is based off of location. Any guardian who survives lap 8 is considered a "winner" and receives 15 rep and a chance at the first place prize (discussed later).

Rare Sparrows:
S-30R Cormorant, A bright red red body with with blue side pieces and white body detail paint with a white double headed eagle logo on the front.
S-31R Silver Bullet, A silver body and sides with blue flames like the Tumbler
S-32R (?) This is where you guys come in I need inspiration and ideas for one more rare sparrow, send in designs! it would be appreciated! I will give credit! Vote on others designs, maybe the most popular will win!
A legendary drive upgrade called Neon Drive, -item description "Neon gases are used this drive's reactor, giving off a pink contrail".
And finally this sparrow can only be obtained when you win first, or if you survive Outlast. Even then the chance for it is very low. It is none other than the S-99 Dawnchaser! The body is gold and the sides are plain black with gold paint details. The body paint details are white and there is a white light level star logo on the center. Its paint job is like the Sparrow S-10V except with the colors described before and different logo. Its contrail is gold with white mixed in like the tumblers contrail pattern. Overdrive is replaced by a kinetic damage, scout rifle like firing mechanism, mounted just under the front center of the body. it does the standard 331 damage has infinite ammo but fires like a high ROF low impact scout rifle. Once obtained it is not allowed for use in regular sparrow racing since it breaks the rule of direct damage and is the fastest which makes it unfair for even the timed event.
Finally it's the the the special timed event. That is Seven Seraphs sparrow racing! They are located in the tower once a month on the left side of the timed event area until weekly reset. All perks can be used and speed and durability will be dependent on your sparrow!
The vendor is an old human hunter named Rahim Torgin he is also a friend of Banshee. He was a big part in attempt to retake the moon. He now runs the Seven Seraphs in honor of the seven lead scouts, in which he is the sole survivor, that fought on the moon. There are five ranks in seven Seraphs that reset each month. Items that can be bought from him for glimmer which include two emblems, two shaders, class armor pieces, a drive called light drive that gives off a white contrail, and finally at rank five a random legendary hand cannon he and Banshee designed for the Seven Seraphs scout members that helped them survive long enough warn the other guardians to escape from what was coming. As lore Banshee and Rahim were once good allies however Banshee lost most of his memories after Twilight Gap. Rahim still regards Banshee as a friend, as does Banshee, but he can't remember much if their past. Banshee was not a Seraph. Rahim also sells a consumable that boosts standing earned that increases each day. The faction's colors are black and silver as opposed to IB's gold and white. The game mode is co-pilot. Like I said before boosts speed differences and overdrive can be used. Random drop rewards include the normal sparrow racing rewards, in addition a silver jumpship called "Orbital Rage" can be attained by rank three through RNG. Same goes for two legendary sparrows:
XV0-Seraph which has a black body with silver sides and silver seraph logo on body.
XV1-Seraph silver body with black sides and black seraph logo on body.
Both have overdrive
Now the kicker is if your get first place in the race and you win the match, the chance for the Dawnchaser drop is increased. If your team loses the match and you get first place, the chance for it is normal. Seraph rank does not apply for it dropping. Certain places will earn a certain amount of standing. But if you get last you receive a mission Item called underdog's token. It boosts xp the next time you earn standing. You can hold up to five.
