Is G-Horn that good ?
I have Ghorn and I agree it's very good ... But I don't think it's so "God like" as the hype claims... Can some one make me see the true power in Ghorn and make me love it more ?

You and I have the same opinion dude lol I think It is a good rocket launcher yes, but I would rather use something else unless I'm soloing a nightfall. I'll typically use hunger of Crota if I need a rocket launcher.

Hands down best RL in the game. That being said HOC is great cause it frees up a exotic slot. But yes it is a sick weapon to have.

In Pvp, take Truth, the tracking can follow your ennemy everywhere. For the Siren at crota, use Dragon Breath : Shoot a rocket at the start behind the cristal and the two priestess will go out. And 3 rockets will kill Ir Yut easily. And the Gjallahorn for... all the game !

Make a Titan get rune wings Have fun No other weapon can drop crota in 2 shots Remember Gjallarhorn is for massive DPS on one target If the wolf pack rounds spread out to other targets it's not a useful All in all like most guns it's good for some situations and others are better for others

It works on everything. I wouldn't say it's pure hype, I have it on 80% of the time and use on trash and bosses. Clears out rooms and makes everything easy mode.

1 ReplyI love it for strike bosses. 1. Save up 7 rockets throughout strike 2. Unload all 7 on strike boss 3. Get to cover, pop heavy ammo synth 4. Unload 7 more on strike boss

Overly hyped and overly sought after. Yes it's powerful but it has situational uses (boss fights). For everything else it's not that great

It does the most damage per shot of any weapon in the game. Take that how you want.

It is that good. It's great for single target and AoE. It's damage dwarves every other launcher, only thing that comes close in versatility is Hunger of Crota but the damage is no where close. It's great, but is the most useful against majors and ultras especially bosses or large groups of exceptionally strong enemies. The Wolfpack Rounds really make it what it is, they essentially do half of the launchers damage.

1 ReplyIt's great, but incredibly over hyped. All of us in the group I run with have ghorns but it is not needed at all in VOG and you can easily do crota without it as well. It's fun, and a cool trophy, but I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

It's the wolf pack rounds that put it above and beyond the rest....on bosses it adds to the damage big time and on groups of enemies they break off and track all the enemies around the area....that alone makes it worth using....cluster bombs on hoc would be good if they did more damage
