Or why not have the ships serve as a small vault? That way you can put away whatever drops you've collected in there and with that app you can just transfer them to your vault or to your other characters with ease. I think it will save time going to the tower just to put away 2 items when you could just store it in your ship.

i thought thy should have gone to a whole new level with the ships. i posted something that got no attention, so i copied and pasted it. "i always thought, since day one, nore should have been done with the ships. here are a few examples. make ships have different engines or jump distances, requiribg a more expensive ship or upgrade to get to further planets. make them withstand different temps as you get closer to or farther from the sun. create a playable minigame type travel sequence similar to Kingdom hearts. if you fly to a different planet, you have to fly through an enemy wave. your ship could take damage, requiring you to pay to fix it. have a race type mini game where improved engines and thrusters improve your speed, and you can shoot other players to slow them down (in this mode ships would take no damage.) any other ideas how we could get more game out of our ships?" Ships are a SERIOUSLY under developed aspect of this game.

They said there are no loading screens in destiny. Your ship us just a glorified loading screen. Well played bungievision. Well played.
