I would like to take a few minutes from you to discuss about a tragic 7.9 magnitude earthquake that hit Nepal yesterday. 1500 plus people have been confirmed dead and many more left injured and homeless. Can we take few minutes, and pray for the people affected by this tragic incident.
I have lived there for 18 years before I moved to USA, and when I called my mom last night the sounds of people in chaos that I heard in the background was terrifying.
Please include them in your prayers.
Thank you.
Edit: This was first posted under #destiny so I apologize for the destiny reference. I edited them out. I wanna thank you all for the kind words and getting this trending. I just want people to be aware of the situation in Nepal.

probably because that volcano in south america... on another note, Yellowstone(Super Volcano) is still filling up with magma. if it goes off, it'd be an unsurvivable extinction event worldwide because all the toxic ash would block out the sun for years(nuclear winter scenario), thus killing off all plants and small organisms that are key to the food chain. also it would destroy most of the US and Canada with the eruption causing uninhabitable conditions like a massive scale Pompeii. it's also a couple thousand years overdue to happen, a.k.a. people as a whole are living on borrowed time.
-
Yes because praying is SO MUCH BETTER than donating to relief efforts.
-
Human beings are byproducts of successful stupidity. "Earthquake knock your city down? Let's build it back in the same -blam!-ing spot!" Genius!
-
I'm sure national relief services are already there Hope they can save everyone they can
-
"pray" just stop
-
Fellow guardians
You have convinced me not to pray for Nepal.

Normally I would call you a Desticle and tell you to get out, but my prayers go out to those people. May Shrek help them
-
I hope your family is ok, and Nepal recovers soon. As a side note, I would edit out the guardians and destiny related stuff as this was moved to offtopic. People will pay more attention to the actual idea behind the post that way.

"Hey everybody, please pray to the God who allowed this to happen, that he will protect the ones he didn't kill." That's what I read. Either way, thoughts our with your family and friends.

Edited by Numenor_ranger: 4/26/2015 1:56:05 AMThis made me cringe so hard

Gonna be that guy. Off topic.
-
*Prayer* bungie should donate. They have enough money.
-
Heard about that it's so sad, #prayfornepal
-
Damn right but unfortunately this will probably get moved as it's not Destiny related But that is terrible. Must have been a monster quake I was looking at the footage pictures earlier
-
I will pray for them.
-
I have family there affected as well. Thoughts and prayers around.
-
I'm prayin for ya bro
-
How about actually donating or lending a hand to recovery efforts or help in some way instead of some pointless prayer?
-
They are no my prayers, bro!
-
Sending good vibes! This kind of stuff is so terrible and there's nothing you can do about it, either. Sigh.
