Honestly, I'm surprised people are having such a hard time unless they are really underleveled. Discuss Dark Souls 2 and what bosses you think are easy compared to what people say.

2 RepliesAava, the King's Pet. I'd heard so many people saying how difficult it was, and when I got around to it on SotFS I was disappointed. Her moveset was very predictable, and her soulmass type spell had little to no tracking. Granted, Lud and Zallen were a bit more difficult, but if you apply the same techniques as you do when you fight the Darklurker after it splits, the fight becomes simple.

I had a really hard time killing the fume knight back when the DLC first came out. I died probably 10 times before I finally beat him. Then I put my summon sign down and fought him probably 50 or 60 times after that so moving into SotFS made him super easy lol. He's probably one of my favorite bosses to fight.

1 ReplySmelter was the easiest boss I've encountered that is supposedly a hard boss. His moves are all paragraphed and easy to evade/rol through. Use two Gems to negate the fire aura damage and you're set. The only thing he's got going for him is his high health/good defense and the massive damage of his blast wave.
