Sure, but that's bungies choice on how they want pve. Has nothing to do with pvp, or they would split it.

Which is stupid. Aka this whole point, Bungie needs to learn weapon balance because auto rifles didn't need a nerf.

It may not have been about auto rifles needing a nerf, but a bigger picture thing trying to grant more variation in weapon choice for pve. Obviously they may have missed the mark, but i'm sure they'll bring them up again shortly with all the pve complaints about AR.
