Why does no one whine about Hawkmoon?
Ill pretext this by saying that the guns are fine, I don't really mind them.
But I see a lot of people complaining about thorn or The Last Word... NOTHING pisses me off like Hawkmoon.
With Thorn, if I'm hit with the burn, I trade kills or I immediately hide so the guy doesn't get the other head shot. With The Last Word, I rush and shotgun . Sure, both kill me a ton, but Hawkmoon, MAN....
It two shots so damn much. Almost 1/4th of the time. I can't tell you how many times I've been hit once and said "oh yeah I can get this guy " and then BAM bonus damage on the next head shot.
And I've had the pleasure of being one shot by a Hawkmoon...
I love it. It doesn't need a nerf and it is a great gun. But why doesn't it annoy people as much as the other two?

There just arent as many of them as there are TLW and thorn. Once its on both platforms and becomes more wide spread the nerf babies will be all over the forum. I own all 3 and i always do better with HM than either of the other two although it depends on playstyle.

Unless they suck horribly, u won't survive a second shot with its fast firerate Btw thorn is a consistent 2hk with a screen disruptor, regen delay with damage, crazy range, very easy to aim, and superior to any hc... Yer hawkmoon thats barely above normal handcannons and inconsistent is a problem?!

1 ReplySince your running less than half armor, you can get two shot headshot by hawkmoon without a lucky bullet. I always pull mine out in skirmish when teams run low armor.

2 RepliesJust a theory, but I think Xbox players just complain more than PS players. Obviously they don't have hawkmoon, so we see more complaint posts without it because they haven't been killed by it. Now obviously generalities aren't true across the board, but just what I've seen. Furthermore, there just may be more Xbox players, so therefore, if there is an [i]equal[/i] number of complainers per capita, this would mean there is supposed to statistically be more Xbox complainers.

The reason is that hawkmoon is a trophy and is literally the only reason you could say that destiny is better on the ps4 than on the Xbox one as all the other exotics are simply average, play station players don't want to give up that bargaining chip, simple as that. Also it is no where close to thorn or the last word in terms of time to kill.

Maybe cause it requires the most skill out of the three. Tlw and thorn are very spammy guns, hawkmoon is more about taking choice precise shots. All three are great though.

Hawkmoon is the only handcannon that needs skill to use. When i get killed by it i say dammit and good job. When it's thorn or tlw i think to myself.. -blam!-ing poooossy
