Exotic upgrading with shards
Bungie please help on my brothers account AxillaryWord92 he bought an exotic shard an upgraded his Suros regime but it reset it

If he did the "upgrade" thru xur then that's not the way to max out your weapon. Those are for 300 max attack exotic weapons. If he got the Suros after the Dark Below was released he should level it like any other weapon, with xp, glimmer, and weapons parts. The final upgrade node requires an exotic shard.
