Tell me your thoughts down below
Supposedly, a twitch streamer named TripleWreck(I may of spelled it wrong) was doing a stream the other day and said a short but deadly comment to one of his viewers
The viewer started off
"Destiny sucks"
TripleWreck responded
"Your life is worthless go kill yourself
(Quotes may not be accurate, I am basing off other threads)
I AM NOT FAVORING EITHER SIDE IT IS UP FOR DISCUSSION
END THIS THREAD, we can't argue over different opinions
English
#Destiny

I didn't see or hear what actually happened. I'm just basing this opinion off what information I've gathered from these forums. I think it was a bad decision. As a business professional with many direct reports, I understand there's a level of professionalism I must maintain. To put it simply, I'm not entirely myself because I cant just curse someone out when I'm unhappy with their performance. That being said, I believe that any public figure should employ the same level of professionalism. They have to understand that people are watching them and won't hesitate to criticize them. I'm not staying they have to be fake, but they do have to be mindful.

Kill yourself for making this poll. My guess is you didnt do it. /thread

Could honestly care less. Been gaming for years and have heard everything there is. I never take any negative comments I hear seriously.
-
It was a stupid comment because that hurts his image and is a very negative comment, he being a entertainer(streamer) should know that. He probably was just in a bad mood and let it slip, it happens.
-
3 RepliesHe shouldnt be allowed to make any kind of public statements. He needs to go to prision.

Just needs a PR guy.... DeeJ!!!!

The western cultures have become far too spineless, insecure, and sensitive a place. The world is overdue for a real global crisis and I'm afraid the average American doesn't have the emotional aptitude to survive even the smallest of adversities... God help us all.

2 RepliesWakes up and gets coffee. Goes online. *omfg noob ass pussy, go kill yourself fag* Takes a sip of coffee. "Just another day online, nothing to see here"
-
If someone killed them self because of a stranger on the Internet...the problem goes deeper than something someone said lol
-
1 ReplyI see it as, if you're so easily offended, stay off the internet.

3 RepliesWho gives a shit and who even watches twitch lol

Short based comments like that are typically trolls who may or may not even know they are trolls. Don't worry. Everyone gets over video games and grows up. The growing concerns of society and a job naturally outweigh video games and people will get that eventually. You know you have actually become mature when you are less concerned with everyone else and what they say, and worry about other things... Like why we still haven't cleaned up that guardians remains on the Moon... I mean seriously If I could fit myself in my ship, I'd HAPPILY grab his/her corpse and take it back to earth for burial.
-
Anyone saying it was wrong, just realize that you are White Knighting for a troll who most likely doesn't give 1 shit what other people say about him. You are all WAAAAAAAAAAY too sensitive
-
He's not a jerk just doesn't think before saying. The way he said it with so much seriousness is the problem.
I said the third option
tripleWACK?

If someone actually kills themself because an internet personality told them to, then their issues were much, *MUCH* deeper than simple depression. And their family should've been watching them more closely. That said, telling someone to kill themself is douchey and juvenile, so just don't.
-
I have never watched his stream so I can really judge him based off of everyone else's opinion. I might check him out to see what he is all about.
-
1 ReplyWhy would you make a thread about a thread of what someone said? Too much gossip, you need a boyfriend.
-
24 RepliesEdited by weily: 4/26/2015 4:11:28 AMPeople who are writing this off as trivial don't see the point. It's never okay to tell anyone to kill themselves. And for all the people who are saying "don't be sensitive" you're using yourself as model of behavior irrespective of others' sensibilities. Someone in another thread told me some ridiculous shit that I was "forcing my activism on others". When the irony is that when saying things like this you're forcing this model of yourself onto others (particularly those who have suicidal tendencies as a result of psychoses). Edit: added parenthetical last part. Edit2:
Here: http://www.twitch.tv/triplewrecktv/v/4308534 ~9:45 streamer confronts troll "Billy". A few minutes later streamer says to this person that they "shouldn't be alive". ~9:58 is when he says "kill yourself" to this person. ~10:10 streamer says "I don't feed trolls. I end their existence.... <pause> That's not what I live to do. But I enjoy doing it. <pause> Feels good man."
If you base your own thread off of others threads you are pathetic. Let me get this through to you and everyone else. NOBODY CARES!! Who gives a hell what someone said to somebody. This does not mean a damn thing. Whoopdy doo
-
Who gives a flying -blam!-? And if you do you SERIOUSLY need to reevaluate your life.
-
5 RepliesAll these white people getting all sensitive. They want everything to be sugarcoated.
-
Dude people say these things all the time especially on the forums. No big deal
-
People need to grow up and gain a sense of reality. Who the hell actually kills them self after someone tells you to "go kill yourself"? Someone who is a attention whore and was probably going to do it any way, therefore seizing the moment to make someone else look guilty, aka triple wreck. He is just like me and you, a guy that likes destiny, he shouldn't be attacked for this. But this doesn't surprise me considering how bitchy and dramatic this community is that this happened and is being blown out of proportion
