Thorn bounty unfair for Hunters
The Thorn bounty is unfair for Hunters. Hunters do not cause any void damage and the player has to rely on special and heavy weapons to get kills with void damage. It makes the challenge extremely difficult compared to other character types. Now add the new ammo drop and it compounds the difficulty. It gives an unfair advantage to other character types.
Can Bungie change the bounty a little to make it fair for all character types? Maybe change it to a similar task as the bad juju. Get x amount of points to finally unlock the weapon.
I love pvp and enjoyed playing until I got this bounty. I'm usually at the middle of the pack when playing with a kill ration of 1+. But if you a few bad games in a row, all those points can be lost. It's become very frustrating and has made pvp not as enjoyable.
All other bounties are doable. They are challenging but can be completed by any character type if you put the time in.
Please fix this bounty.

I did it with a void fusion. It's harder than when I did it with my Warlock. It can be done. Just stick with it.

If you can get it, word or crota makes it a breeze

You are not worthy of the weapon scrub. I finished the thorn bounty in 3 games on my hunter so don't blame hunters blame your whining lack of skill.

It's made to be difficult and the reward you get for it is probably the most powerful crucible weapon in the game and everyone's calling it out asking it to be nerf ed and now you want it to be easier. When will people start enjoying the challenge and stop asking for handouts destiny is not the welfare office

2 RepliesMy only issue with the bounty is that you can lose all your points your worked hard to get, where the other bounties that require you to do pvp don't lose points you have collected....and I think that needs to change.

I did the bounty on my hunter so it is possible but now its nerfed and people are still crying to have it nerfed more because they suck and cant play the game.

Great time to make a warlock or Titan!! Start as void walker or defender and find the bounty again, it will happen Ooooor, have patience and camp in the crucible

build 2 things. crucible marks and dead orbit rank. at rank 3 you can get hide and seek. then play rumble or something with small maps. you just got all your kills in about 3-5 matches

It's really not difficult, managed mine on my hunter. try using word of Crota, then void secondrys and heavies

The weird thing is that there are 3 subclass options but bungee only has given each class too. :/

Oh yes...same problem here :-( not a good player anyway but with my void damage fusion rifle its really impossible to me.

I'm a hunter. I got thorn bounty and completed months ago using pre-DLC stuff. It's not too bad.

Next thing we know people will complain about using hunters on nightfalls with void burn. Smh....FYI I did the bounty on my hunter with only a sword breaker and I've never been anything beyond decent at any of bungies games pvp.

I did it months ago with my hunter and used only a rare void fusion rifle. Stop trying to get stuff handed to you and work for it. I've done it since with the Warlock. Easier with the Warlock but not enough to warrant changing anything.
