Hello. I'd like to suggest a new idea. It's really quite a simple one.
Okay, we all know some people just want to play PVP, and some just want to play PVE. And it makes sense that those who won't do one or the other cannot access the one they do not do. But here is the thing: The Reputations lock them off anyway. If Ido not play any Vanguard events, I cannot earn Vanguard Rep and thus cannot get Vanguard items. if I do not gain Crucible Rep, I cannot buy Cubicle items. So what I propose is that Vanguard and Cricible marks and combined into 1 currency, with the cap for said currency being raised to 400 (Which is the equal amount of both one can cap)
Pros of this:
Guardians who do both have more Marks to spend on specific items.
Since Faction Capes and the like give Rep for both Vanguard and Crucible actions, this turns Factions into a Neutral focus rather then a PVP focus, allowing PVE''rs to support their favorite faction and gain their items.
Grinding is either severely reduced or more profitable since you can go past the current cap and stock up, and you have more options on HOW to grind should you so choose
Strictly PVP events like Iron Banner or Trials of Osiris are not compromised since they require their own reputation only earnable in PVP.
Personally, to me it makes sense to do.
Also, i hate to be THAT guy but IF you like this idea make sure to, well, like it. It makes it more like-ly to be seen.
...Sorry for the pun.

6 RepliesI say combine the reputation and not the marks. If you could spend vanguard marks you would never pvp again after rank 3. Also requiring rank 3 to buy a crucible weapon discouraged several players from even starting. Nobody wants to grind for a month to get the privilege to spend currency.
