"Destiny Trading Post" = Gamestop.

I think it would be awesome to have a trading system for [u]NON-RAID, NON-EXOTIC items THAT HAVE NOT BEEN UPGRADED AT ALL[/u] So you can trade Legendary weapons and armor that are still at their base stats, no progress in them. It's basically saying if you upgrade anything at all, it essentially becomes "Soulbound". You can't just upgrade something fully, give it to a friend, and have him instantly be level 34, or have a maxed out powerful weapon. I think this system would work really well because people who receive an item that they know is good but don't need themselves, can send it to a friend. It would keep exotics unique to you, like a trophy, raid items earned by you, but anything else that has the potential to be a light capped item - like a legendary chest piece from the vanguard - can be traded (again, as long as you have not upgraded it at all). What do you guys think? Personally I think it's disappointing that I receive so many purple drops, all of which get dismantled (especially armor) because I already have the best raid gear and guns possible. I'd like to be able to trade this stuff to people who would get some use out of it. It wouldn't give them a free pass, as they would still have to level it up or ascend it with Etheric Light, it just gives them a good foundation, with something that was otherwise useless to me but very helpful to them. Another reason I think this would work is the increasing gap between level 20 and the cap. When players first hit 20, they're basically screwed because they can't do a nightfall until level 32. We used to be able to raid and nightfall at 24-26. This means it's that much harder for people to run strikes, heroics, and nightfalls for gear. Vanguard DRAGON strikes will be level 28. That's a long way from level 20. When I first started doing vanguard TIGER strikes, I was only level 24. Much easier to get to and start the mark grind. Which is all the more reason to be able to trade base level legendary items to these players and help them out with what would otherwise be garbage to us.
