How do I get HoW refund?
I preordered when the marketing materials said there would be a new raid. It's the only reason I bought it. Now that there is no raid I have zero interest in HoW.
How do I get a refund?
EDIT: For all of you mouthbreathers who are either too lazy to look it up, or too stupid to remember, here is just one of the promotional materials stating there would be a raid in HoW. EDIT 2: Another preorder description for the expansion pass stating there would be a raid: [url]http://i.imgur.com/rgKGRXb.png[/url] This came from an email from Bungie. So yes, they did say each of the first two DLCs would have a raid.
EDIT 3: Over 3000 replies! Thank you for all of the support and love! Keep it going so Bungie sees how many of us want a HoW refund!!

In case you weren't sick of horde mode from every single "story" mission in the game, they've pulled the raid so they can give you more horde mode! (And also to resell the raid as more DLC later) That'll keep things fresh and interesting!

2 RepliesI dont see why everyone is arguing over their individual ideas of 'fun' =/ OP prefers a VoG-style raid to Horde mode and feels let down that things changed? Thats fine. Similarly, some people really thoroughly enjoy Horde Mode and are quite happy to take that in place of a Raid. Arguing that everyone should think like you and hold the same subjective views is stupid as hell. Dont be stupid as hell.

I agree this is way over hyped. The youtube/fanboys are spamming with BS videos and no real meat that we have been shown. This could have been much better. The new pvp maps are only decent aspect thus far, but too bad pvp is utterly broken with hand cannon OP spam and other class balance issues.

The crota raid was boring after half a dozen completions anyway and was only done to get gear same as everything else. I'm happy to have new content. Though I'm not disputing I was sure there'd be another raid.

If you actually read the posts, there will be a raid in HoW, just not right at the drop. They don't want to release another Crota's End and put out their quality work. As for your refund, you are the one who bought it in the first place. No refund for you

Raid or a survival. Someone hacked into bungie and got info and just happened to say raid. So clearly its your own fault believing the internet rumours.

Legitimate question here for OP, have you asked them for a refund? Never know till you try. And also, I'm pretty sure as big of a company, bungie/Activision is, they probably have a horde (no pun intended) of lawyers reviewing everything. My guess is in all the marketing materials said "subject to change" maybe not the pic, but somewhere, and probably got the lawyers ok.

Get over it and move on, just stop buying dlc if you don't like the experience. One time I bought some chips and didnt like the taste of them, guess what happend then. I stopped eating them, gave them to someone and didnt buy them again.

I spend more money a week on Dunkins that 20$ is just a flash in the pan. Things change in development, they weren't satisfied with the raid they currently had so they created something else that is fresh in the time period they had. Who said that they are going to charge us for the next raid? As far as any of us know they could very well release the HoW "promised" raid over the summer to hold people's interest until the Fall's major content release. I'm glad there isn't a raid this time around. PoE looks like a lot of fun and I'd rather have them work extra on it and make sure its not a glitchy cluster F like the last two raids. Just goes to show how short sighted your ( and people who want a refund) view is by writing off something before you try it. Apparently Destiny is not the game for you, go find another game to bitch about. Muted.
