The tittle says it all. So did anyone else give a shit about this or was it only me?
Edit 1: Some things to note are there are two people carrying this weapon and there is a heavy rocket launcher on the Titan's back so it's not a heavy weapon. I'm thinking it might be either a pick up from the arena or a special heavy weapon like NLB or UR.
Edit 2: Some other theories are that we will fight multiple Walkers at the same time and take their cannons, It will be some type of mission like in TDB and you can use it later on in the PoE maybe. Someone else mentioned that maybe each floor is crushing a Walker and claiming a turret. Maybe it's like in the dark below where you get to kill the knights to get the sword and the cannon would work the same but for for fallen walkers. If you have a theory comment down below.
Edit 3: Thanks everyone for coming up with some of these really cool theories and for being positive about this. Also to clear things up the middle one is obviously a Titan and he has one of the cannons, to the left I think it's a hunter and he is carrying the other cannon, and to the right I'm pretty sure it's a warlock and he doesn't have a cannon.
Edit 4: so this might actually be an arm of an Archon priest like enemy :D Take a look and see the almighty arm http://m.imgur.com/7rDNLCq

Rocket launcher primary.

The hunter also has a heavy machine gun on it's back. And does anyone see that this is actually in the house of winters lair? This is clearly the big cave, specifically the area right below the gold chest with the small platform near the pathway that leads up and around to the bigger plateau of the cave.

I think Bungie release a picture of some archon having that thing as his arm. I don't know heard of from planet destiny
-
Directed energy/beam weapon or flamethrower. It'll be picked up out there somewhere. Probably semi limited and used to compensate for massive amounts of enemies that will be there.
-
I think it's a relic

2 RepliesPlaystation exclusive?

3 RepliesCould be the no land beyond buff...

Tank cannon maybe the way you killed sword bearers and got the sword now tanks but get tuurets
-
That's what the Fatebringer becomes whenever it's maxed to 365.

Yeah after seeing that image in edit 4, I'd say after you kill that boss, you take his arm and use it to defend against the next wave of enemies. Looks like that particular fallen is the product of a experimentation with bionic replacements. Either that or just got tired of every damn guardian blasting him to hell with their Gjhallahorn.

6 RepliesThat's clearly a giant blunt.

1 ReplyHandcannon.

2 RepliesI just rewatched the part of the twitch reveal where he's at nm vendor and yes, he purposely doesn't scroll over the last weapon. It looks different than a launcher or hmg. Also weapons go primary-special-heavy on most vendors, with heavy being last 1 or 2. There's clearly something different after the 1st heavy in nm vendor screen

I thinks it's a special item that will be used I. The arena only. Just like the sword or the relic

1 ReplyWhat's that machine gun the hunters got on his back? Looks like a wolf on the barrels?
-
2 RepliesThis is the best speculation about it that i have read that makes any sense. Not my post, it was on reddit.

1 ReplyRemember how we had pictures video etc of the reef like a year ago? Well... remember that photo bc you'll see it.. NEXT YEAR

2 RepliesI take everything with a grain of salt. With bungie I take everything with a molecule of salt. I'm not excited for it. It might be absolute shit
-
4 RepliesIt is definitely like the sword or relic but for prison of Elders
-
1 ReplyThink the detachable MG turrets, rocket pods and flamethrowers from Halo... Pick up, use up, throw away.
-
3 RepliesFlamethrower?
-
5 RepliesWhat if... Just sit with me now... The helmet the titans are wearing have a perk that allow then to carry 2 heavies? One in place of the secondary slot? One that makes the Tank class feel more like a.. Well.. Tank!
-
It's probably a special weapon, like the VOG Relic or the CE sword
-
1 ReplyGiven how two people are using it and it doesn't seem like its another version of the relic or sword. If it was then wouldn't only one have it? Also people have made it clear that it isn't a heavy, and given the glow at the tip of the cannon it looks like it charges. So maybe its a fallen fusion rifle? Though it couldn't be because it doesn't look like fallen tech. From all this I'm guessing its a wave drop. The game must make you wield this weapon on certain waves as a buff. Maybe its for a bonus round like in firefight? Who knows honestly... guess we will just have to wait till the reveal.

3 RepliesIt's not a fallen walker cannon. There's another picture that was released that showed that gun as an arm of a fallen enemy.
