Haha try aiming with a white screen. Yeah you could stand over his body with your gun aimed already but a smart warlock will just wait for you to move.

Do you need to aim if you are standing beside him with a shotgun?
-
Yes, unless you know exactly where he is, but I addressed that.
-
A smart worlock wont use self res in cruicle
-
I do. And I come out on top of the leaderboards a lot. I get usually 2-3 kills with my self res. it's about timing and picking your targets.
-
Then youd be better by using the perk that allows you to take more damage in raidiance use it like a hubter would use there super
-
I've tried it. I still feel like I get dropped quickly. I'm so used to self res now anyway I don't want to relearn lol.
-
He will with The Ram
-
He shouldnt lol unless your bad at crucible and you use it to help out your team by dying and taking points or screwing uo a cluster of then
-
Everyone dies in Crucible. The very best of the best players still die on average about once every four kills. The ability to turn that inevitability into a major advantage is not something only "bad" players will consider.
-
You look at the top tier sunsingers and you will see none of them use res they use it like a hunter would use arc blade or golden gun if your using self res your not using the most of your super

Edited by Jayd Sky: 4/23/2015 2:44:35 PM....hence why I'm saying The Ram might make it viable. I main a Sunsinger and I never ever use Fireborn in the Crucible. When I get The Ram I'll try it out specifically because of The Ram. You also need to remember that you don't have to self-rez every time you use your super. The Ram just makes it so that there are situations where it is worth sacrificing Radiant Skin for the chance.
-
Then your giving up on the bonus that allows you to take more damage the only way the ram will be viable in crucible is if it totoally blinds the other team for a stupid amount of time and if it has a huge radius and id still say there are other better exotics you could choose from you can try it but I promise youd have a much better way of playing without it
-
But wearing The Ram in the Crucible is telling everyone that when you die, youre going to self res.
-
Hardly matters. A decent player won't res if the other team is obviously waiting for him to. If they are not obviously waiting for him to, there is no way they can counter a radiant warlock while blind, except with fist of havoc or nova bomb.
