So because I got Arctic Proxy even though very few other people have it, it's not rare?

No. Because "I" have it. (which I do. I've deleted two arctic proxy shaders) I get shaders all the time, but I also grind crucible, raids, Roc strikes, IB, and daily/weekly bounties. I play all the time. I only use dead orbit faction items so I see only dead orbit package drops, but the shader drop ratio per every five levels is consistent. Just my experience and opinion.

I bet you're the only one grinding everything.. -.- Just because YOU get shaders "constantly" doesn't mean everybody does. It's called RNG for a reason

I understand that. Which is why I said because "I" have it. I also understand rng, probability, and ratio. As like Vegas slot machines, the more you play, the more you win. No, money is not a factor in this random game of chance, only time. That's all you're having to contribute to "winning." The fact remains, on a long enough timeline, everyone will eventually get everything. (And yes, I also understand "unless it's removed with the next update" will prevent that)

Ok. You're right. Your medal score shows you don't do enough PvP to validate time spent grinding "the whole game" but if you feel you've been wronged by absolute rng, then I can only say "you're right." Continue mediocre grinding and casual crucible and complaining about the rng gods not smiling upon you. I bet you feel you "earn" your exotics as well. Happy gaming.
