Depends. When I really wanna get at it. No items , omega stages. Otherwise it's way more fun leaving items on and playing the normal stages. Way more funny too.

Omega stages can get boring though. On Melee, Pokemon stadium, battlefield, final d, yoshi's story, dreamland, and fountain of dreams. That's the way to go.
