Everybody thinks right now that old raid gear can be upgraded to max light level but it has never been said 34 was max light what if Prison of Elders gear and Trials Gear get you to level 35? Edit: I'm saying that they are allowing you to upgrade old raid gear so your old grinded gear gives you an added boost over people with Vendor gear and Iron Banner gear because it can be upgraded to level 34 making it viable to use in activities like Nightfall, PoE, etc.. You use this gear to get to level 35 without taking as long but making your old gear still a good choice to use. Edit: This was before the stream*
