So, how do I even start getting into raids?
So currently I'm level 28 with a few legendary weapons and a near legendary set of armor, but the bounty/strike grind is starting to get to me and I want to do more.
I have never done a raid before, and I have zero friends on my friends list who even own Destiny, so how do get into raiding? Should I be a higher level before I even start thinking about it?
Any help and/or advice greatly appreciated.
On PS4 btw.

Add Orickpendor on PS4. Me and My son can run you through a few times and help you level up. All you need to do is follow directions and we can get you through.

If you go blind make sure you have an experienced team. Otherwise watch some general vids to understand the mechanics. Once you do have at it and have a blast. I remember the first days of running VoG. Those were good times

28 is a perfect level for raiding. I did my first one back when I was a 27, and VOG was relevant. Raids are really great once you get more involved, IMO. I personally like it better than PoE, because of the amount of liberty you have in doing it. There are no rules, you are free to go and do whatever you want. But that will come later. In your first run you want to listen and get the mechanics nailed down. Then in later raids you can sometimes screw around if your team is up for it. (Killing Gorgons, Finding Secrets, etc.) Hope you enjoy raiding.

Step One: Watch tutorials! Become familiar with the mechanics of the raids. Pay attention to the players using the class you like to run. What are they doing in the fight? What perks are they using? What weapons do they have? Maybe you don't have those guns, but if you can get close... Step Two: Join the100.io. Go to [url=http://www.the100.io]the100.io[/url] and join a group of players that fit with you. Are you 24 and play competitively? Are you 55 and play casually? Do you play at nights...weekends...AM's? Whatever. It'll put you in a group with other Guardians who have playing styles like yours. Once in that group, join raiding parties. These guys will take care of you. They'll be more patient with newbies. Especially if you get into raids with any of the group Sherpas. These are Guardians who enjoy helping others figure out end game content. Step Three: Thank me later. TL:dr- If you didn't have time to read that...don't raid, it's not for you.

Start with VOG since it can be played on level 26 And the loot is not bad Watch some guides on YouTube, there are plenty to get you familiarized. If you are going with LFG make sure to mention ur a first timer, ppl will sure help u out Peace :)

Get 1 exotic and get some random legendary pieces of gear (the new ones, don't require any materials to get 36 light), do level 32 PoE (get armor core, buy said armor) - BOOM, level 33. Do 2 more 32's and you're 34, then the etheric light will start rolling in.

dont be afraid of telling people its your 1st time. Most people will just explain it to you anyway. At least I would. BUt if you say your experienced and your not actually then it causes trouble.

You can start soft with VOG normal which is lvl 26. There's plenty of nice ppl who can show you the ropes. I'd help but I'm on xbox one
