You don't even know how it's going to work yet FFS!! I seriously doubt VOG or other legendary gear is just going to automatically increase to the new cap. What if you have to acquire some new type of shard, or if you have to turn in Osiris/Elders gear to upgrade the old one? Then you'd have to decide which you want, new gear or old gear upgraded. Point is you don't even know what you're going to need to upgrade FFS!!!
