I'm frankly just tired of this pattern.
What's the point of even customising your dude anymore? Why play the way you want to when you can play the way Bungie intended!
"You wanna go explore that cliff and get a vantage point on the enemies? Sorry. We want you to use your sniper point blank, against rows and rows of minotaurs who somehow have developped their own form of radiance."
"What? The door in some instances gets glitchy and locks you out of the rest of the nightfall? Just return to orbit. Isn't it better this way?"
Who knows, maybe they'll ban rocket launchers for the Crota fight? FUN FUN FUN!

Please edit out the part about rockets at crota I don't want them to get ideas.

Point taken...

Not sure why people are so in love with rockets on Crota. If you have a lot of monsters in the area they do a TON of damage per shot. If there is one monster in the area they do... not that much damage. I can fire Ice Breaker twice and do more damage to Crota then a tracking rocket before that rocket hits Crota.

Cool story bro.

Non. Sense. Enemies don't gather on the platform with Crota, so your point is moot from the start. But assuming it were somewhat true I can guarantee Gjallahorn would eat your Ice Breaker's lunch all day long.
Enemies don't gather on the platform with Crota, so your point is moot from the start.
Um, my point was that enemies don't gather on the platform with Crota, so you don't need a rocket launcher. On Crota hard you need five people to fire one tracking, non-cluster rocket at Crota to take down his shield. Since most strategies revolve around four rockets being available someone needs a tracking-cluster. What do you know Bungie drops one on Crota easy. And Ghally certainly makes everything easier. But anyone can switch out a rocket launcher for an IB and fire two or three sniper shots instead. Three sniper shots will out perform the damage of a single rocket on a single target and about equal the damage of a rocket with clusters. Yes even if that target is the dreaded Crota. This isn't rocks and sticks. It's the fact that sniper rifles outperform the DPS of anything outside of Ghally to a single target. It's not hard, you point and shoot. In fact it's a lot easier than using a non-tracking rocket launcher. If someone is trying to use one of those we always tell them to just use their best sniper rifle.

wow pp using both IB and Ghorn all the time, they need to nerf the hell outta those guns, so ppl learn that those guns are not everything in the game...sad they nerf seros mainly cuz scumbags who no life that crap use that gun, yet everyone uses IB n Ghorn like a crutch due to lack of skill and they do nothing bout it.

Like, 5% of the total destiny player base have ghorn.. Check the playstation trophy stats. The number of players who even have 1 exotic is ridiculously low, considering Xur poops em out every Friday. Jelly for jellyhorn I presume..

No, they should let you and people like you carry rocks and sticks into boss fights. You should also record it so we lesser players can see how it's supposed to be done. I unapologetically use whatever guns and/or weapons I have to win the fight. It is also proven this has ZERO impact on how you play your game. I find this to be a beautiful compromise, and something Bungie did get right.

Yes so we can see the rest of the group carry him through every part of the game
