I rarely quit but when I do it's because I'm on a team of absolute morons. If I'm in a control match and I'm the only person trying to cap points I'll leave. If we capped B and C and the idiots try to cap A switching the spawn and spawning enemies behind me rather then holding down the objectives I worked so hard to cap and defend I'll leave because usually that will cost us the game we were otherwise winning until that point. If I'm always finding myself alone and getting mowed down by the whole enemy team because everyone is spread out all over the map because they don't know how to work together I'll leave. If I'm watching the whole team get mowed down by heavy weapons and gjallahorns because one idiot couldn't wait 3 second for me and the two other guys running up so we could get some heavy ammo too (especially with no enemies on the radar) I'll leave. The only reason that's justifiable is if the enemy is rushing up and you know you can't take them because you are alone and you need to at least deny them that ammo. If the entire enemy team is rocking their thorns, gjally's, hawkmoons, and felwinters in their raid pajamas and is annihilating our team of level 20s. I'll leave. I don't need to carry you. I don't mind losing. I mind being on teams that don't know how to play. The moral of the story kids get better and people won't leave your matches. Most people don't care if we lose or have a negative KDR but we want it to at least be a good fight not just feeding the other team kills. Play as a team work together stick with the pack. Two guns on a target is always better then 1, 3-4 is alway better spread them out though that way someone survives the super and picks off that attacker. Focus on two points in control only after you get a substantial lead do you start thinking about locking all of them down. Stay on the points the only reason you should leave it is if the other point starts going down and you need to go support and cleanup over their then go right back to where you were. Remember you aren't just capturing points you are capturing spawns. You'll only need two and then they have to come get them and you'll know where the are coming from, fish in a barrel. These thing will help keep people in your matches. Not only that it'll make you a better player. Honestly though I'm so sick of being on teams who don't know how to run control that I'm pretty sure I'm going to be doing clash exclusively now. You're welcome now don't ever make me quit again.

  • Lol, saying I don't leave much, and then giving a shopping list of situations when you leave.

  • Lol yeah. I really don't though I usually try to stick it out. The team really has to be so bad that it's not even fun to play anymore. A lot of the reason my stats aren't the greatest is because I stick it out more often then not. You see I realize unlike most people that it is a teamwork based game. But I'm an average player with a good team usually I'll be one of the top 3 players with a team that doesn't know what they are doing I get wrecked and it doesn't matter what I do. If the team isn't even trying to help me cap points why should I stay. I'm not out to try and carry the team. I'm not going to stay in a match where I'm getting mobbed the entire time trying to cap a checkpoint while 2-3 guys who spawn there run off trying get their kills and completely ignore the objectives. You don't have to stay on the objective with me but at least hang back a little and cover me and then if I go down finish capping the point. More or less my post was meant to show people how their bad playing is what makes people quit and also to get them to think about the things they are doing wrong. If you aren't supporting your team you don't deserve to have a team and so I'll quit. Honestly though I think I'm done with control. No one seems to understand how to play it and I've been doing better in clash lately there's still bad teams who don't know how to use teamwork there but at least it's not as bad as capping a point by yourself with a target on your back and no support whatsoever.
