When I'm doing the patrol bounties on Venus I like to ride by the VoG and help open the Vault. I like jumping on the pillar at the center sync plate and saluting the guardians as they enter. Does anyone else do this?

I went into the vault when I helped open it.
Much regret.
Always.. It's nice helping out. Fun too

I stand back and look at what's going on before I charge in. Sometimes I see groups of 3 and they are doing just fine holding it alone... for all I know they might be trying to do a complete 3 man run so I'm not going to interfere. If however, I see a team of any number of players struggling and losing plate after plate, then I go in and help them kick some praetorian ass! Usually I get thank you waves and occassionally an invite to their game. There are times I don't even get so much as a wave.... in these cases I always assume it was a group of 12 year olds with the attention span of a gnat. They've forgotten they got help before they even make it through the vault door :P I was actually bummed that the Crota raid didn't have a challenge entry in a public place. It's a really good place for guardians to be good to one another ;)

I always lend a hand...one time it was a fireteam of 5 and no one was higher then 26 i held left and center and got them in the door...now if they defended confluxes successfully, thats another story im sure

People still do patrol bounties? Takes longer than some of the 5k exp bounties IMO.
-
Every chance I get.
-
All. The. Time.
-
I help all the time especially when I have the "Kill 10 Vex Major" bounty. 60% of time, it works all the time.
-
I done this once and thought I'd be smart and follow them in. And the door shut behind me
-
I've been riding past before, seen the alert about vex taking a plate, and stopped to help out. A quick wave when the spire forms and back to my bounties.
-
Yeah I'll go help out if I see anyone there. But most of the time I'm there, no ones doing it (or they've just left).
-
I sometimes help out but I rarely make it over there I'll do it if I pass a Fireteam doing it during "Eye of a Gatelord"
-
Everytime I pass by the Waking Ruins, all I see is the same thing: nobody raising the Spire...
-
Every single time I near that area I go check it out to see if I can help some people build the spire. Have several people turn and wave to me before going through the entrance. Those are the things that make Destiny fun.

I saw three lvl 30s and decided to jump in I helped them open the gate, then got a invite to their fire team. I decided to join the battle we got to templar killed him but I had to start getting ready for work so, once it was all over I waved and departed

I am drinking water. I ordered food. I have size 12 feet. My hair is brown. Get the point?
-
I did this once and next thing you know we killed Atheon
-
Helped out one group defore while I had a pike
-
When I did VOG last time, some guy rode in on his Sparrow, waved, and drove away. I mean we weren't struglling.
-
Every time I'm passing through, if there's a team building the Spire, I stop to help.
-
First time I helped I made the mistake of going in and following them as far as I could and got promptly stuck! :)
-
I use my titan bubble to help the vex get as close as possible.
-
We had a guy last night join in! We were a five man team and our right guy was struggling! Enter the stranger!!! He came up to the portal they spawn at and destroyed everything.... Props to that guardian my mate was delighted with the help
-
I don't patrol venus often these days, usually just cosmo.
-
Too bad you can't battle Atheon Al Fresco.
-
lol, yeah. If I'm riding past and see a VoG group in progress I always stop to help. Last time it was a bunch of 27&28s running into Normal Mode (I assume). I started floating around and killing Praetorians everywhere I could. Realized that they kept losing one side every time I wandered toward the center, so I just suck to that side and it went up nice a quick (fully leveled SwordBreaker works wonders, especially paired with Void Jolder's Hammer). I think three of them sent me PSN messages thanking me for the help.
